The course curriculum is based on semester vise & each semester focuses on the level of knowledge which is needed to achieve by the students , the teaching method of the teachers are very intresting & helpful , you'll not get bored in classroom .

Internships Opportunities

There is domestic & international internship opportunities has been given by the college , companies like taj , oberoi, ITC , park , Leela hotels & mariott is there for the internship , they give around 4k-5k for domestic & around 25k-40k for international internships

Placement Experience

After semester v students are eligible for the placement , companies like taj , oberoi, park hotels , jw marriot visited & offers were made , many international hotels also do come in the final year . The highest package that has been offered was 12Lpa & the lowest was 4 Lpa, above 90 percent students have been placed each year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st & second year fees is 217000 per year & the 3rd year fee is 182000. There's no categories for the fees for any caste , everyone is treated equally for the course , there is no scholarships available .

Campus Life

The annual festivals like rigolo , & durga puja happens every year , Saraswati Puja & independence day were also celebrated . The full fledged library is provided inside the campus itself . Campus have all indoor games .students run the anti ragging committee at the campus

Admission

After searching I found iihm provides the best placements & international exposure & provides best education in comparison to other colleges , I have seen many colleges have extra hidden charges but iihm has only fee which the uniform is included . For admission you need to pass echat exam & pi which has been taken in the college itself , the basic of the school learning came in the echat exams & about urself they ask in the pi

Faculty

The faculties are very supportive , helpful & knowledgeable , they are very good & if needed they provide personal guidance for needed students , very polite & helpful facilities. Chef sudipto & specially chef Sanjay kak ( culinary head of iihm colleges) very polite helpful & calm

Interview Experience

The echat exam & a personal interview has been taken at the time of admission, the echat exam contains the basic of maths , English & general knowledge which has been studied in the school .after that pi is taken they will ask you about urself & why u want to become a hotelier

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. The difficulty of Internal examination can be improved a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

Remarks:

This college is extremely good and known for its discipline and the stress it puts on the importance of studying. Also, there are many extra curricular activities thag one can take part in, and the teachers are helpful and encourages for a better future and are also vert capable. I opted for the course because any biology related course excites me and this college has one of the best faculty for this course.
