PICT is Pune's best

PICT and CSE are like icing on the cake and as soon I got admissions in PICT, the branch was a no brainer. Unlike other colleges and Universities, PICT conducts a special assessment session that consists of 10 marks. So mid sem of 30 marks automatically becomes of 20 marks as rest all are calculated through internal assessment test.

Capegemini trained us as they included their forte in our course and therefore in 2022 and 2024, they took over 100 students. PICT shook every other college when one out college students was offered an international placement offer by Microsoft worth 93 lakhs in 2023. This, I believe thus far is highest among Pune colleges.

The actual fees is 90000 a year but since I am into SC category all I have to pay is a shade less than 13000. Maharashtra Government has made special scholarship plans for SBC/SC/ST and OBC students and therefore fees for special category students is very less in all the colleges of Maharashtra.

Our annual fest name is Addiction and it happens in March every year. College is small but has one of the most comprehensive canteen. Since college is far from various cities infrastructure, there ain't much cafes and restaurants around but our canteen is more than enough. For sports we have a basketball court and a volleyball court which are never empty.

COEP is best in Pune and I wish I had just 12 more marks in CTET and I would have been eligible for COEP. Besides that DY Patil, Bharti Vidyapeeth and all were available to me but I chose PICT as PICT may not be as big a brand as them but with theow fees and facilities that PICT provides, it is at par with them.

Salvi and Patil Sir whom we fondly call bhau are our favourite faculties. This is a collective names I am giving as most of us are in the final year and have more or less have seen all the faculties but these two are incomparable.
