Very Good Forums which is actively working.

Small campus nothing to explore and situated in small town.
Too tight schedule to handle for a student.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good one and the curriculm is so too tight which enables children to work under pressure , do things systematically and it also enriches the quick thinking capacity and Critical learning of students which is very neccessary for proffesionals

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

Good college placements are there. Many good companies reffer our college and many of our aluminies are working in good positions over many good companies and someof them are owning some good companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are three types of seats 1.Merit Seat-26000 per sem (around 50000 per year) 2.Management Seat-45000per sem(around 90000per year) 3.NRI seat -55000(1lakh+ donation in each year) And for all the top 4 ranks in all branches tution fee is free

Campus Life

Campus life is bit boring and college wont take initiative to bring big peoples and arrange good events to entertainment but the collee seniors are trying there maximum to bring good programss and college is so small and nothing much to explore

Admission

This college provides good placements for students and it has a good pass percentage and almost all passed students are getting good paid jobs. There are lot of successful aluminies whom i directly known of and also heard of

Faculty

Faculties are well qualified and are able to handle all the subjects fluently which make this college good for placements and it attracts good companies. Exams are out of 100 +50internal mark.My fav teacher is my DSA miss who teaches the subject like we are feeling it.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I first applied for most of the government engineering colleges. Then my next priority was to get into a best college other than the government ones. That's how I found college of engineering chengannur. I heard it is the second best IHRD college . So I fixed to get admission in this college.
