Magical College Life

The course provided for us is very interesting and it's an add on benefit for us for having labs every week and the exams are conduct almost thrice a month so it is very beneficial for us. The difficulty level is moderated most of the times and easy sometimes. The teaching methods for some subjects need improvement.

The companies provide internship as well with a minimum stipend of 15000. The projects that are done in college are based on iot. The outcomes are perfect. And the projects i worked on are touchless water dispenser and garbage monitoring system.

Working in a reputable company. I started working in a start up in 2022. I also got a placement of 5 LPA for a role of business analyst. From 3rd year 2nd sem the placement will be started. Almost 80% from my batch got placed.

I got full fee reimbursement and have to pay 5000 per year for extra fees. Original fee per year is 103000 for batch of 2019-2023 ECE. After government reimbursement it is around 63000. As i got my rank below 10000 i got full fee reimbursement. Scholarships are provided only for SC ST or BC not for general OC. I belong to general category so no Scholarship Students whose parents field is in private there is no reimbursement from government. They have to pay full fees.

The fests that are held are dandiya nights for dusshera, patang utsav for sankranthi, kmit evening as a farewell. There are wide range of books available in the library including the subjects. The facilities are okay okay need AC's.

The hostel facility is not provided need to find a private hostel that charges 8000 per month. The meal quality is 2.5/5 . The hostel are little expensive for students. The locality is himayathnagar. Menu will be varied everyday.

From the beginning i was interested in KMIT only. I applied to kmit in the first trail and did get the college and got some other college and wasn't satisfied with the college. Then in the second trial i again opted for kmit and got this college.

The faculty of ECE are very friendly and they also provide us good lectures. Especially they conduct sessions for improvements. The exams pattern willl be 2 mid term and 1 final semester exam for every semester. There are also labs . I mainly liked our 2 sirs in the final year who are very friendly and guide us for the exams. The midterms are of 25 marks and the final for 75 marks. The exams are moderate level because the questions are based on what they teach. I dislike my BEFA teacher because she is very rude with me most of the time.
