Course Curriculum Overview

3

? None. I chose it became it was a famous college. ? It tries to become better with every action but its not by far close to what actually other college provides. ? More curriculum for that and allowing and engaging students to research and grow more. ? The timing of exam was okay, also the difficulty level was high. They priorly inform you so it gives you so much time to be prepared

Internships Opportunities

1

? I would never know, none companies came in to offer any roles or jobs when I was there and no stipend for same. ? Never regain an experience. Because they didn't offer us various way to intern. There wasn't even an in campus offers for students to grow.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 29500 first year of my admission in 2021 and then 27000 in the second year. There tuitions fees wasn't segregated based on these many charges. But using different methods they do charge extra. For example, registration form for 200-300 DD making charges because they dont have alternate fees method for about 200-300 and additional charges for lab cost that vary on the behaviour of a certain batch. For me, it was 200 and further mandatory books charges along with TCSC coat they dont allow others and charges on every function they do, even your own freshers. They benefit the obc and st class people but I won't they say bent over helping them. Its just for formality. CS/IT opted students 32000-35000 fees and and normal plan students can have up to 27000 They do make us fill yuva form but it never came in our merit.

Campus Life

2

Freshers in August, Taaragan in December / January, Navratri in october. None. Except bench, board and window Sport students get favours like attendance, internal marks, no need for completing lab books and what not. No, there isnt much freedom for students. Only an HOD exist for planning this functions.

Admission

? I applied to many college, Thakur, Bhavans, Xaviers, KC, Jai Hind and got approved from almost all except Xavier but I took admission in Thakur because it was closest to my house. ? Yes I did from Xavier there cutt off was 96 ? Cut off is 80 % they have researved seat for in house students. And there no exams held, its a walk in admission process.

Faculty

3

The ratio is good, 1:30 The faculty is very helpful and they are trying to always be helpful. There approach is really for our growth and they are always helping, some students do feel good in the presence of there twachers. I liked my biology ma'am and physics ma'am whose name was Prajakta. She was really nice and always trying to help me, last to last my college attendance became worst and I was always behind but she put me thorough. There were total 4 exams, 2 unit and 2 sem and they have very difficult paper set up and they are not easy corrector. The failing rate is thrice the passing rate. The course is almost not relevant at all.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
