- Infrastructure of the college: the campus is of good size with all basic amenities
- Faculty: the teachers and the lab assistant are very helpful and good with their work
- Library: total of 3 libraries in the campus based on different courses
Dislikes
- Sitting area is very less compared to the number of students
- Cafeteria is always full and most of the students leave ther leftovers on the table
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very in line with the current requirements of the field. We are also given open electives such as English communication and Organizatioonal Behaviour which helps is the overall development of a student
Internships Opportunities
I still haven't opted for the internship as still being in the 1st year but many companies come fir the internship/ placements such as torrent gas, ONGC, gspc, RIL etc. All the students are also given rural internship from the first semester( summer internships)
Fees and Financial Aid
First semester fees is 140500 including all the deposits. From the second semester the fees will be reduced by 25000 as all the deposits are deducted. Many scholarships are there such hai half fee waiver, 25% fee waiver, scholarships for student in need etc. Merit rank scholarships are also there for students getting rank under 150000 ( fror girls 175000) in JEE or under 5000 in GUJCET.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Tesseract for tech birdies and rangtaal ( garba night) the culture club. There are almost 40 clubs in the university of different things such as dance, music, astronomy, computer, finance etc. A student can choose anything based on the interest
Admission
I had applied to Chandigarh University, Nirma University, UPES dehradun, out of which I got confirmation from 1st and 3rd I chose this college because of this course as I didn't want to go in the IT field and it is also comparatively closer to my house
Faculty
Each class is of 60 students which helps the teachers to interact more. All the teachers are PhD holders in the field which they are teaching. There are mid sem (50 marks) and end sem(100) in every semester and IA(25 marks). 50% weightage is taken from all to calculate the total outcome. Generally 80% ofthe paper in based on the topics taught in the class, the rest is a bit difficult.
