The ambience: students are very much enthusiastic
Faculty interraction is very supportive and helpful
Innovative thinking and the execution is very nice

Dislikes

The semester exams doesn't conduct according to time
There is no display board in the class for the display of artworks
There is no campus placement after the completion of post graduation

Course Curriculum Overview

Visual arts dept provide a all rounded foundation combining traditional and comprehensive.the semesters doesn't happen within 6month time period sometimes it delays and sometimes it is done before 6 months

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Classes are very convenient with proper guidance from the faculty.its fees structure is something like 12870 per year.Exam fees is 800 rupees , center fees is 300 rupees, marksheet fees is 75 rupees all total 1175

Campus Life

The annual fest auskriti is a treat to watch big artists come to our university. the clubs are also very active many talent hunt competition open mikes are organised in the campus every month..sports events also happenes frequently

Admission

For me it is near my house it is very comfortable for me to go there.and the department of Visual arts is doing quiet well..I have also tired to apply for shantiniketan in Kolkata but I couldn't pass the entrance exam

Faculty

The applied department faculties are very much supportive..they help us in every step..they teach designing from basics to professional very nicely.. specially Dr. Gautam dutta sir is very welcoming and helpful..the semester exams are not that tough if u prepare it early..most of the students pass the exam only a few fail

The Assam university in a nutshell

This is the only collage i got through the JOSAA counselling i applied to many collage including the collage in near my locality but i didnt got any of them because of my low jee rank . the admission process was easy after the JOSAA allotment i cam to collage and regestred the copy of physical documets and got the admission confirmation . there was no additional exam involed just thejee rank is taken after allotment i didnt have to give any other exams or interview....Read More
