Course Curriculum Overview

5

Department of Microbiology had an amazing curriculum covering all the important topics and relevant techniques. We were taught all the basics and advanced techniques. Our hands on training and workshops were really helpful.

Fees and Financial Aid

25000/- yearly Lab fee 6000/ The fee structure was affordable. There were no issues with that. My college administration was so helpful.I had lost my father due to covid during my second year of college, and my fee was completely waived off.I am extremely grateful to my college teachers and department of microbiology.

Campus Life

5

The on campus events were completely lit.We ha annual day functions.I was the president of the dance society, hence many competitions and events were organised. We had organized fests and other workshops and events in which many students participated

Admission

The main reason of choosing Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences was because it has only science courses. Also I had heard the quality of education was really good from my seniors. The college was also near to my residence.

Faculty

5

The faculty was extremely helpful and supportice in each and every aspects. No matter what the situation was, they were always there for us.Even during our online classes and sessions, our curriculum was completed and all the seminars were also conducted

Students become eligible for campus placements around 5th to 6th semester. Highest package of 2024 was 25LPA. Usually 8CGPA is considered a sweet spot for campus placements plus it gets them easier to get into world class universities for post graduation.

Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Biomedical Sciences)
Reviewed on Mar 3, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.
