Course Curriculum Overview

3

We have exams very frequently, like you give one exam ,the marks aren't known of the previous ones and the schedule ,due for assignments, for practical papers comes very next. Some teachers fo really teaches well, like god level but there are some who just claims I have knowledge in every field, I can teach anything, and ends up teaching through PPTs ,god knows what they speak and then leaves the class without us understanding even a single thing.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placements are decent here if you have no active backlog and minimun required cgpa. The average package of mechanical engineering is 4lpa-6lpa. However, since in my branch ,many students are incapable (due to faculties' ego) People in my branch usually do not get the opportunity to even apply for interships.

Fees and Financial Aid

UP scholarships are there for the students. They can apply for the same and get the amount specific to their guidelines in the bank account of the payer. There's a peoper procedure for applying and this usually starts in the month of December or late November. There's no merit as such for the people with reserved castes, everyone has to pay an amount of 127500 at the start of the academic yera. The some amount of money is refunded only if the person goes through all the steps and procedures of the UP scholarship accurately before the dead line

Campus Life

3

There are multiple clubs here dramatic, gruv, callidus, aeroclub, autorob, etc. Freshers should really join at least each of these clubs for better personality development. Aagaz is inter clg sports event, that is held every year in the college premises.

Hostel Facilities

3

In my room, I got one bed single , one table -chair, attached almirah to the wall. The quality of the food to poor to okayish. The fee for each year is 60000 including accommodation and the food. First year hostels were really nice though.

Admission

I did apply JOSSA hoping to get any NIT or IIIT any branch. I got food technology BS MS dual course at BIT mesra which didn't align accordingly as I wanted to pursue BTech only. If it had to be BTech in food technology, I would have definitely taken admission there. In HBTU, one has to give JEE mains in order to get any branch here.

Faculty

3

There are only 6 girls in my class out of the total strength of 80. The faculties of my branch are very reluctant to check the papers of semester leniently. Most of the student has atleast one backlog in each semester including seniors too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KCC Institute are not very strong but okay for average students. From 6th semester students can sit in placement drives. Few known companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and some local firms come every year. Not everyone gets placed, only those who are serious and prepared get selected. Around half of the students manage to get a job from campus. Average salary is around 3 LPA and highest goes up to 5–6 LPA for few lucky and skilled students. Mostly entry-level and trainee roles are offered. If you depend only on college, it is tough, self learning is important.

Placement Experience:

Taking about campous placement of my college so this is not so good like it is almost negligibe . If you want job then you have to fimd it by yourself and you have to apply by yourself to company. sometimes few prof. will help you to apply for some companies but most of the times you have to do it by yourself only. As in other colleges you will be elegible for internships from 2nd year is also the same thing you can start your internship when ever you get it. Almost no company visit here for placement but some time few companies come here for ME and Civil deparment students .the placement percentage is approx 35 to 40 percent. My plans after getting degre is to go for higher studies.
