What should I prefer: Mechanical Engineering at HBTI, Kanpur or CSE at IET, Lucknow?

Both of the institutions are situated at a distance of 80 km from each other. IET Lucknow is situated in the industrial capital of Uttar Pradesh and the HBTI Kanpur is situated in the Political capital. If you live in one of the two cities, you can choose accordingly; otherwise, this factor has no significance. According to AKTU, both the institutes are ranked at number 1 and number 2 in UP, but the situation is completely different analytically. HBTI is a well-known institution and has been the parent institute of IIT Kanpur and Uttar Pradesh Textile Institute. Both the institutes are government-run with complete control over examinations and the curriculum of courses offered by them. If you enjoy programming, Computer Science would be the appropriate course for you, while Mechanical Engineering is for those who want to acquire a genuine sense of what engineering is all about. The faculty of IET Lucknow is better than that of HBTI. You will have numerous opportunities outside the campus. The placement statistics for the mechanical department are not very good at both institutes, but placement in the CS department is extremely good. Make your decision based on the branch and not the institution as it would have a major impact on your career.

KIIT will take all of your parents' hard-earned money. They will allow your entire batch to sit in some 2 to 4 average companies through campus placement, but if you want to work for any services-based IT company, you can get admission to KIIT. If GATE/IES/PSU is your goal, it is best to study in a college that is close to your home and has lower fees. HBTI is the best not only in UP but across the country, with an excellent alumni base dating back to 1921. Each year, the best students from UP attend this prestigious institute. IET is not bad, but when compared to HBTI, it falls short in terms of placements, alumni base, academics, and so on.

Year wise fees of my course of BTech in Mechanical Engineering is Rs. 135000 , which was given in two parts as 75,000 and 60,000 during the time of online registration. A little variation can be experienced in other branches but in CSE, ME, IT, CHE, CE, ET and EE are all Rs. 135000 . Scholarships like UP Govt. Scholarship, Reliance, Simens, and Aditya birla etc are available and students are getting amount out of it some selects students on the basis of aptitude test.

The Real Harcourt Butler

The total fee per annum of Harcourt Butler Technical University for B.Tech is 135000 for the First year and after that 127500 for the second , third , and the fourth year . I am currently in the third year of my education (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering and the fee of my college remains the same for every year . Uttar Pradesh government provides 52200 of Scholarship every year except for the second year of my education. There are also fee waiver seats for the economically lower section of society. For the fee waiver seats the tuition fee is zero for entire B.Tech .

UP scholarships are there for the students.They can apply for the same and get the amount specific to their guidelines in the bank account of the payer.There's a peoper procedure for applying and this usually starts in the month of December or late November. There's no merit as such for the people with reserved castes, everyone has to pay an amount of 127500 at the start of the academic yera. The some amount of money is refunded only if the person goes through all the steps and procedures of the UP scholarship accurately before the dead line

I did my diploma.and after this I participated in CUET exam and after that I was take the admission in HBTU direct in 2nd year. My 2nd year fee was 135000.and in 3rd year 127500. The study environment of this University is very good compare to other colleges.

The total tution fees of 1 year is around 135000 and the increment of every year in fees 10 percentage and the hostel fees of whole year is 25000 and mess fees is 18000 per month and if your family income is less than 2 lakh then you are eligible to get up scholarship up to 60 to 70 thousand every year

A sweet sight of HBTU

Our college fees is 1lac 35 thousand and hostel charges are approx 60 thousand including mess. Our college also provide tution fee waiver those who are not capable in submitting this amount of course fee. The complete charge of BTech course is approx 9 lac. Our college also provides scholarship to eligible students on the basis of category. In campus placement is quite good as it gives you 9 lac avg. Package. Our college gives you many opportunities for internship and placement offers.

Fee structure include tution fees of 75000 and extra maintenance fees of 60000 which makes total 135000.Besides all these hostel fees for each year is 61000 (mess fees included). Schloraships are also provided with specific terms and conditions. Up scholarship are available which are provided for the ones who are eligible. Amount range from 55k to 65k for general category.
