For admission to B.Tech, the candidate should have completed 10+2 in the Science stream with 50% marks. For selection, they have to take the JEE Main.

Candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the JEE Main. The application process is given below:

- Make a note of the system-generated application number

- A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.

How to apply for GATE?
Those who are eligible for admission have to take the GATE. The registration process for it is given below:

- Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
- After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
- Fill out the application form.
- A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
- Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.
HBTU MCA Admission 2024

How to apply for NIMCET?
Candidates eligible for MCA will have to take the NIMCET for selection. The process for registering is given below:
- Candidates have to register on the NIMCET website by creating the login, password as instructed therein.
- Fill all the details on the online form.
- The last date for submitting the form is March 31.
- Candidates will have to pay a fee of 2,500 INR online.
- All the relevant documents should be uploaded along with the online application form.
- Remember the login name, email ID, password and security question till the end of the NIMCET process.
HBTU Ph.D. Admission 2024
The Institute offers a Ph.D. program in 4 specialization areas. These courses are offered under the category of Quality Improvement Programs (QIP) which is supervised by Principal or QIP coordinator to be nominated by Govt. Of India, every year.
Interested candidates must qualify the entrance examination for the Ph.D. programs conducted in the months of October and November every year.

I choose this college over other is because i have no better option that this . I even don't do too much coding. Yeah i did applied for other college even i got iiit bhagalpur but due to its high fee and less placement ratio i dropped it. I even got mmmut ece as well but dont opted . And the placement are very good for my course so thats the main reason to select this college. The admission process it simple give jee mains exam. Mark good rank fill hbtu couselling and wait for counselling result . They also give you chance in spot round counselling. Admission process is good people can get our college even with very low rank some technology branches get open at a very low rank

I choose this college because my cousin brother from this college and near my home town.
In placement area this is not good, for campus it is ok.
I have applied for nit patna,nit allahabad, iiit kalyani and iit bhagalpur but due to higher rank in i did not qualify, but i qualified for nit manipur but due to distance from my home town i dropped the idea.
You can apply for HBTU Kanpur from their website directly after jee exams. there are total three rounds of counselling and one internal sliding after branch allottment.
For cse - your rank should under 35000.for IT rank below 40000, you can apply upto rank of 4 lacs having different quotas, and category.
since there are 13 branches in total jee rank vary.

I had applied to NITs where I was offered a seat, but I received a lower branch at the top NIT and a top branch at a lower NIT due to my low rank in the JEE. Therefore, I chose HBTU, Kanpur, as it has a better alumni network compared to the lower NITs. I didn't get into IIT because I couldn't qualify for the subject-wise cutoff in chemistry. Admission to HBTU can be obtained through the JEE score card; applicants must apply via the HBTU website, as HBTU does not participate in JOSAA counseling.

college which I get on my jee rank 33290 in my point of view. Although it is much more better than private colleges which I get after paying very high fees . And i hadn't apply for any other colleges. Although I get nit but I don't want to compromise with my branch. Here jee rank is considered for addmission. I was getting NITs like NIT Meghalaya, NIT Manipur and IIITs like IIIT Naya Raipur , MMMUT in gorakhpur, KNIT Sultanpur etc but found out the placements here are very great. I was getting low branches in NITs and I was not good with the placements and curriculum of MMMUT. You need to ace the JEE Mains exam with a percentile over 96 if you're a general to get Engineering branches but for Chemical Tech branches you may get a chance with 89-90 percentile even. Need a percentage over 50 in your CBSE board examination

So the main reason for choosing the college was that the chemical technology branches here are one of the oldest in the country so they have the expertise and experience. The large alumni network is the biggest plus point of the college as the illuminai are on very notable positions and prestigious institutes. Also the core branches are often overlooked in private colleges but here the core branches students do get placed with decent package. I did apply in several colleges in Delhi and some private colleges in NCR. After getting admission in all those I still decided to choose this and I believe it's a fair choice. I got seat in Delhi University , Jamia Delhi and IPU also by the merit list I could get into lower NITs. Admission process of the colleges fairly simple they release a form you fill it online they have a portal for counselling and you can also check the previous year rank list for admission which will give you idea which branch you can get in the college. There is decent time given to complete step in the admission process keep your documents ready and the fees for the first year and the admission process becomes smooth after you have paid the fees you up for hostel in mess. They give you a date for physical reporting. In the counselling process you also get the option to upgrade your seat based on the further rounds so you can participate in multiple rounds and get a better branch. And if you don't like the branch you get at the end you can opt out but once you get a seat you have to pay the seat acceptance fees which is 75000 yes that can be refunded if you use not to take admission in the for the latest stage but that's not very quick. You have to wait for some time for that to happen. Have your documents like your school marksheets and your category certificate if any ready with the prescribed standards which are mentioned in the admission information brochure.
