Candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the JEE Main. The application process is given below:
- Visit the official website of JEE- Main
- Register for the online application form
- Make a note of the system-generated application number
- Create a password
- Log in again and fill out the form
- Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
- A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
- Keep a printout of the application form for future use.
HBTU M.Tech Admission 2024
The institute offers seven specializations under its M.Tech course. Candidates with a B.Tech degree with 50% marks are eligible to apply. However, for selection, the candidates should have a valid GATE score. The course has an intake of 126.

How to apply for GATE?
Those who are eligible for admission have to take the GATE. The registration process for it is given below:
- Visit the official website
- Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
- After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
- Fill out the application form.
- A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
- Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.
HBTU MCA Admission 2024
The institute offers an MCA course to those who have a Bachelor’s degree. The candidate should also have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 or in college. For selection, eligible candidates must take the NIMCET.

How to apply for NIMCET?
Candidates eligible for MCA will have to take the NIMCET for selection. The process for registering is given below:
- Candidates have to register on the NIMCET website by creating the login, password as instructed therein.
- Fill all the details on the online form.
- The last date for submitting the form is March 31.
- Candidates will have to pay a fee of 2,500 INR online.
- All the relevant documents should be uploaded along with the online application form.
- Remember the login name, email ID, password and security question till the end of the NIMCET process.
HBTU Ph.D. Admission 2024
The Institute offers a Ph.D. program in 4 specialization areas. These courses are offered under the category of Quality Improvement Programs (QIP) which is supervised by Principal or QIP coordinator to be nominated by Govt. Of India, every year.
Interested candidates must qualify the entrance examination for the Ph.D. programs conducted in the months of October and November every year.

Hbtu Kanpur is your well known for his 100 + years of legacy, it is well known college in Uttar Pradesh and as compared to other state government college it is one of the best colleges in India.
Also the aluminium network of this college is very big and very fast as many startups and ceo of very big companies are from hbtu Kanpur only.
However this college is less preferable over nit as they get good fund provide good facilities and have good and sharp brains around in the college.
The admission process of this colleges online only and based on the cut off of JEE mains marks only there is no shortcut to get admission in the college the eligibility of for this college is 60% marks in boards and cut off for computer science is 30000 for general

I applied for Jadavpur University and PEC university but couldn't get admmison in them because of high cut-off. This college was 3rd in my list. You can get admission in this college through Jee mains but by applying in HBTU counselling.

I applied to several colleges through JEE Main counselling but i couldn't make it into NITs or IIIts even i cleared JEE Main. my rank was not high enough to secure a seat in CSE at NITs.
I chose HBTU Kanpur because of its legacy, government status, strong alumini network, and the unique paint technology branch ( which very few college in india offer).
To eligibility students must have passed class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects. admission is through JEE Main scores, followed by counseling via UPSEE/UPCET counselling portal.

I choose this college over other is because i have no better option that this . I even don't do too much coding. Yeah i did applied for other college even i got iiit bhagalpur but due to its high fee and less placement ratio i dropped it. I even got mmmut ece as well but dont opted . And the placement are very good for my course so thats the main reason to select this college. The admission process it simple give jee mains exam. Mark good rank fill hbtu couselling and wait for counselling result . They also give you chance in spot round counselling. Admission process is good people can get our college even with very low rank some technology branches get open at a very low rank

I choose this college because my cousin brother from this college and near my home town.
In placement area this is not good, for campus it is ok.
I have applied for nit patna,nit allahabad, iiit kalyani and iit bhagalpur but due to higher rank in i did not qualify, but i qualified for nit manipur but due to distance from my home town i dropped the idea.
You can apply for HBTU Kanpur from their website directly after jee exams. there are total three rounds of counselling and one internal sliding after branch allottment.
For cse - your rank should under 35000.for IT rank below 40000, you can apply upto rank of 4 lacs having different quotas, and category.
since there are 13 branches in total jee rank vary.

I had applied to NITs where I was offered a seat, but I received a lower branch at the top NIT and a top branch at a lower NIT due to my low rank in the JEE. Therefore, I chose HBTU, Kanpur, as it has a better alumni network compared to the lower NITs. I didn't get into IIT because I couldn't qualify for the subject-wise cutoff in chemistry. Admission to HBTU can be obtained through the JEE score card; applicants must apply via the HBTU website, as HBTU does not participate in JOSAA counseling.

college which I get on my jee rank 33290 in my point of view. Although it is much more better than private colleges which I get after paying very high fees . And i hadn't apply for any other colleges. Although I get nit but I don't want to compromise with my branch. Here jee rank is considered for addmission. This college conduct there own counselling process.
