HBTU Placements 2024 final report is yet to be disclosed. As per various sources, the highest package stood at INR 19.5 LPA which was offered by Zscaler to IT students. Some of the top recruiters of HBTU Placements 2024 included Insurance Dekho, Samsung, Hireme, Lummus Tech, Commvault etc. Earlier in the 2023 placement drive at HBTU, students achieved a placement percentage of 84.02% with 484 job offers. According to the placement report, the highest package stood at INR 36 LPA while the average package stood at INR 9.3 LPA.

- HBTU provides a 100plus year of legacy so alumni network is very atrong.

At 8th semester student are eligible for the campus placement if they hadn't got any pre placement offer. Our placement ratio is betwee n 80-90 % for overall then we have some branches that have 100%placements like paint plastic.

- The campus of the college is quite large and full of greenery.

The college claims of having 100% placement statistics and the college also has a very rich alumni network. It gives full support to students that aim towards their future and I had researched before joining and happy with my decision.

- The campus life is not so well, there are hardly any efforts from college side .

Placement Experience:
See the placements are pretty fine and comparable to other state colleges. For MECHANICAL and CHEMICAL beach , this is the best college, provides 100 percent placement in these branches, However it's quite fine in other batch as well. Some companies that visit are TCS , SAMSUNG, MARUTI , HONDA, HAVELLS etc

In the starting of fourth year students can gets PPO and internship among many companies which provides by college or other sources like senior ,hr . In the year 2023-24 highest package is 19.5 lpa in campus and average package is 7.5lpa and median is about to 8lpa

- HBTU formerly known as HBTI is one of the best college when it comes to non core branches or rare branches. The placement track record in branches like Paint, Food , Plastic , Chemical and Leather is outstanding.
- The alumini network is the biggest plus point of this university.It can be said that almost in every field you can find HBTU passouts.
Dislikes
- The college building is very old testament of the fact that it is 100 years old. So it may not look aesthetically pleasing but renovation work is done time to time.
- Summer holidays are very rare and you won't get them.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements of Hbtu are very good for average students as the trends of campus placement show that almost 70-95% of the students get placed with an average package for all. You may rarely hear that any student is unplaced. Also, the glamorous 1 Cr packages are rare. The average package is around 7 lacks per annum and the highest will be 30 -35 lacs per annum.

- Good thing about hbtu is its alumni network. It provides good placement opportunities if student is able to contact the alumni serving at different positions across the globe.

- the thing this college lacks is its technical aspects.Most of the classes are without smart boards and mostly professors are also unable to use it wisely.
Placement Experience:
The placements here differ from branch to branch. Tech recruiters are very low here so the placement percentage of CS and IT students are very low ranging from 5LPA to 8LPA so most of the students do not prefer this college for these branches. Students become eligible to placement after commencement of 7th semester. In my branch i.e Paint technology the average salary ranges from 4lpa to 11 lpa with 7 being the average. Some of the top recruiters are Asian paints,nerolac paints, burger, Maruti suzuki, mahindra ,escorts.The highest package offered last year was of 11.2 LPA from Asian paints. Nearly 90% of students get placed in my branch last year and the college average in 75 %. I want to prepare for government jobs.

in hbtu had a decent placement and have good oncampus placements offer. in past year overall college percenage placement is 70-80%. and so many students reject placement offers and go for goverment exam preparation

HBTU: 2 Answered Questions
Which is better option in terms of placement and standard of life, civil branch of hbti or mech of IET lucknow, reply with factual data?
I have a friend studying at IET Lucknow from the Civil branch. I will not be able to tell you about HBTI but I can guide you in the case of IET.
- The mechanical branch of IET is the best in the entire college in terms of studies.
- The faculty of the mechanical department is the best and you would not regret pursuing B. Tech in mechanical engineering from IET Lucknow. The faculty teaches better than what the students are taught in coachings (as per mechanical students).
- But as far as placement is considered, it is almost nil. The only companies that visit are from the IT sector. Even if a core company visits (rare chance), just a few students get placed. So, I would recommend you not to join IET if your parameters are good placements.
- Considering the college tag, HBTI is a renowned college but IET is also not unfamiliar. IET is well known among IIT professors.

Being from IET is also not bad, though not comparable to being from Harcourt.
What should I opt if I'm getting HBTU chemical branch, IET lucknow lower branches or JSS Noida CS in terms of placement and environment?
HBTU and IET Lucknow both are government colleges and are considered to be tier 3 colleges whereas JSS Noida is a private institute and is considered a Tier 4 college. Normally tier 3 is favored upon tier 4 but in this case, JSS Noida is a very fine institute as of now both in terms of academics and placements.
- Private colleges like JSS Noida offer better opportunities and facilities than government institutes.
- The placement HBTU and IET Lucknow are the same as JSS Noida.
- Students from the CSE branch of JSS Noida get into well-based companies and MNCs and are offered packages far better than that of HBTU and IET Lucknow.
- Normally students from HBTU and IET Lucknow get offered packages worth around 8-10 LPA.
- This is the same with JSS Noida for other engineering courses but for CSE the packages reach up to 25 LPA.
- Students from Chemical engineering are not employed by any core companies in India as they are very few.

CSE branch has more value than any other engineering branch. The best option would be CSE from JSS Noida rather than Chemical engineering from HBTU or other engineering branches from IET Lucknow.
