Likes
- the food that we get in the mess is good.
- sports facilities are upto the marks and we get plenty of opportunities here.
Dislikes
- hostel rooms are small. there are 3 students in a room.
- classmates are not that good. although they may be good but its about my experience.
Faculty:
faculty to students ratio is good. faculties are approachable. i like dean of dsw , he is always ready for helping students no matter what the problem is. exams are easy to crack.you can pass the exams just studying before 10-15 days.
Likes
- College faculty and their level of knowledge. The safety level for girls.
- The alumni connection is very vast and they are very generous and helpful to their juniors
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not that good. There is no badminton hall in college
- The distance is very far from hostel to college
Faculty:
The faculty is very good . The ratio of faculty to student is very good l. There are very experienced professors. Very supportive nature. I specially like Dr. Alak pandey sir, the hod of food department. Their knowledge and their way of teaching is very impressive. There are 2 mid semester exam in each semester and one final semester exam The other 20 marks are for internal assessment. The course is very good and by the help of professor the course seems very easy and understanding.
Likes
- Very vast campus to explore, environmental friendly campus with lots of trees and bushes.
- Mess food is good enough to eat and with a variety of items.
Dislikes
- This university is divided into two campuses one where you study and other where your boys hostel are located. The distance between both the campuses is nearly 4 km.
- First year faculty is not looking that good or inexprienced faculty.
Faculty:
Faculty members are both looking good especially experienced wise. Less fueld work more theory work if I have to say in short. No proper manangement of periods you can not like rely on timing. Overall everything is good until you are studying well.
Likes
- HBTU provides a 100plus year of legacy so alumni network is very atrong.
- HBTU provides very good placement offer in terms of other colleges
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is old as college is established in 1921
- Anything other than infra college is very good
Faculty:
Different courses are taught by different professor so in a class size of 90 approx 6 professor are there. There are three exams i.e mid sem 1 of 15 marks mid sem 2 of 15 marks end sem of 50 marks. Some students get back also especially when they don't study enough.
Likes
- The alumni network of the college is excellent,it is really helpful.
- The campus of the college is quite large and full of greenery.
Faculty:
As we have recently started our college we have no clear idea regarding the faculty but as per the seniors and alumnis the professors are excellent at their work and very reputable and experienced faculty
Likes
- Campus is good. HBTU has two campus (east and west).
- Gym,canteens and cafeteria are good. There are almost every facility in gym.
Dislikes
- Hostel is 5km apart from main campus. We have to travel a lot.
- Mess has less plates and students in hostel are above 170. We have to wait sometimes for plates to get dinner.
Faculty:
Faculties here are very good and supportive. They have provided their personal phone numbers to freshers as whenever they face any problem in campus, they can contact. As I have just started here, I can not say much about faculties.this is what I came to know in our induction programme of 10-15 days. Faculty to student ratio is good
Likes
- There was as such no compulsion of the attendance .
- A lot of time for the students, to do other chores like preperation and all
Dislikes
- The campus life is not so well, there are hardly any efforts from college side .
- There is not internship opportunities for the students.
Faculty:
See ,the faculty is kind of old school type. They focus on the academics , want students to focus more on academics and papers which needs to be updated a bit. You can make healthy relationships only if you want to study , otherwise they are very strict in nature. Ofcourse the exam system is fine , 2 semesters in an year apart from practical exams , mid sems and end sems are there .
Likes
- I thing college need to support in the startup culture that can help students to show something new
- In this college there is bond between junior and senior by interaction and announcing many sport programs ,events etc
Dislikes
- West campus travel time because it is 3km far from east campus
- Less supportive in start-up ideas college fall in conducting events
Faculty:
Faculty to students ratio is too good as talking about relationship some Faculty are interact with students and understand by which type they can easily students can grab the thing but on other hand some of them are less supportive they take class and send notes
Likes
- HBTU formerly known as HBTI is one of the best college when it comes to non core branches or rare branches. The placement track record in branches like Paint, Food , Plastic , Chemical and Leather is outstanding.
- The alumini network is the biggest plus point of this university.It can be said that almost in every field you can find HBTU passouts.
Dislikes
- The college building is very old testament of the fact that it is 100 years old. So it may not look aesthetically pleasing but renovation work is done time to time.
- Summer holidays are very rare and you won't get them.
Faculty:
The faculty members are all very experienced and have industry experience which is very important to teach branches related to plants and production. The faculty of Hbtu is very diversified with young and also experienced teachers each of them contributing to the betterment of students, teachers from different generations give students different perspectives on any topic which makes learning interesting.
Likes
- I will like to improve the infrastructure of my collage
- Social interaction is good the engagement with all my batch mates and my seniors are good
Dislikes
- Location is not good because this is in outside area so the only one market near this
- Both of the campuses have distance 4 km so it's difficult to go college daily
Faculty:
Faculty students ratio is 1/6 and they are good and highly professional,they provide good knowledge and skills to their students and also support in placement. They are very supportive and understandable for their students
