The course syllabus is good with CSIR net syllabus included. Practical and application based guidance are provided by some of our proffesors. Main exam and internal difficulty level is easy to moderate.But quiz may be more difficult according to the professor.

Yeah, there are annul sports competition, annul festival, regular semainar talks conducted by different departments, FMU anniversary,Unnurum program,Ratha yatra etc. Full of festivals. Nss,ABVP etc groups are there with little influence, less political groups/unions are there.

Hostel facility is upto to the mark. You will not feel any privacy related issue in Gents hostel-1. Meal quality is good with 5 nonveg meals a week,special meal is also there every month. Hostel caretaker and cook are so friendly.

I got admission in first round of selection in FMU and later i didn't found any reason to left this university in further processes of admission. Selection is through CPET Entrance conducted by state education department. If you have a rank below 300 you can get admission into this university(for general) I have secured 170 rank.

Faculties are friendly and they have good knowledge in the field. Faculty to student ratio is not so less and not so high,if increased it would be better. In our Botany dept. 1 adjunct prof. and 4 asistant prof. are there. Faculties are good in Taxonomy, Biochemistry,Physiology,Biotechnology, Ecology, Diversity. There is an internal exam=20marks, two quiz=10mark each and main exam=60mark Practical paper is separate. Assignment and seminars are also conducted regularly.
