Likes

The teachers here are great they teach very enthusiasticly. They care about the students so its a plus point here .
The campus life here is very good there many cultural events . Coding competitions in the college which would help you in building your career.
College has got great infrastructures in terms of lab buildings and all. They are very good neat and clean . Many equipments are here which would help you be practical very strong .

Dislikes

The behaviors of the staffs here are bad they don't talk properly it's a huge problem during the time of admissions,.It creates confusion
Hostels are very dirty . I would recommend not to stay in hostel.
The food of the hostel is too bad . That could cause you serious health issues

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great no problem in that but the 1st year subjects are quite boring as a cse student. But after thet you get some really interesting subjects that would increase your knowledge and interests on the course

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Ya the detailed fee structure is about 1lakh fifty thousand yearly . Only the course fees you have to pay other amount for the hostel and living facilitiies . So in our case the fees of the college has increased by 25%. Yes here you can apply for scholarships there are many scholarships like vivekananda scholarships you can get a amount every year according to your marks . You can get scholarships by showing your annual income certificates.

Campus Life

The campus life is great no doubt in that .you get a great enjoyment here by participating in the cultural events . The fest here is too good that happens once every year that is great attractions for everyone in the college.

Admission

This college has a great reputation and the placement record here is quite good. On the other hand the college has got some great infrastructures to get admissions to it . As i said you can admissions through jee mains, wbjee and management quota

Faculty

The faculty members or the teachers are very nice and great here . We have a great relationship with your teachers and we face no problem in our college for the studies . You can admission here through wbjee, jee mains or management quota.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.
