Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum provides specialization subjects in 2nd year of course such as Web development Cyber security Data analysis AI and ML The exams held two times 1. Mid term examination helds in middle of semester. It's a 20 marks examination which is easy to pass 2. End term examination helds in last of every semester after practical and external viva voice. It is a 60 marks examination with difficult question from overall semester syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is compulsory part of the curriculum of BTech cse Internship starts from second year of the course. The marks of internship final reports and project are added to the upcoming semester. Students are eligible for stipend based internship from third year
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year of BTech courses Many companies from Mohali Chandigarh and Delhi visited the college in every campus placement some them are Cyberyaan Deltax Penthara Technology Jungle works Solitaire Infosys College also have partners such as EC council,Palo Alto, AWS and Red Hat
Fees and Financial Aid
GNA University provides an entrance test for scholarship benefits in required course. This test provides applicants maximum 45% scholarship. I am persuing BTech cse in the university and my annual fees is 153000 yearly but I also got scholarship on the basis of my 12th grades that is 95.6% so including scholarship my annual fees reduced to 70375 yearly which also includes extra charges of 3600. There is no category wise relaxation in fees you need a good merit in 12th or good marks in GU-set (entrance exam for GNA University) for any kind of scholarship. For example my batchmates have to pay 42000 per semester and I need to pay 30375 per semester due to differences in scholarship benefits. GNA University also provide education loan for needy students.
Campus Life
Many technical events are organised by cse department every year which mainly includes Coding competition CTF Gaming Debugging There is a wide range of books and journals provided by the library related to each and every domain in cse They also provide eBooks for students Every year there are held many sports events between different departments of the university these includes Badminton Volleyball Basketball 100 meter race.. and many more
Admission
I chose the college due to a Good infrastructure More opportunities Placement cell Great faculty and course Fees structure The college accept board percentage, Jee exam percentile or GU-SET exam marks for eligibility for admission and scholarship
Faculty
The university uses gloom level marking for both mid-term and end term examination. The answer sheets are provided to students for scrutiny so that there will be no chance of error in marking. The faculty to students ratio is good for example for every 60 students there is 1 theory and 1 practical teacher in every subject. The course curriculum is very relevant to students. The exams are easy and many less students have chance to fail in exams. If they studied well. Else reappear examinations are also held with respect to the semester. Dr Anurag Sharma Dr Neeta Rana Are the most liked faculties of the cse department They are the most respected teachers in department. They are very supportive.
