Course Curriculum Overview

Our university is ktu . Our syllabus has changed this year . This curriculum prepares is for real world .exams are conducted periodically. 8 semesters are there.its a four year course . Exams are difficult.the problem is there is not enough time for completing semesters

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

They provide many many placements from different companies. There are many many campus interviews. They provide sufficient jobs and enough salary. We just need to study well and work so hard for future jobs. College is very supportive. Many many famous companies come to our colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

75000 is the year wise fees 55000 is the tution fees 10000 university fees 10000other charges Lab fees , development fees ,registration fees all come under other charges I don't have any scholorships There is a fee waver for low income students

Campus Life

I like this collage . This collage don't have too many culturals but the culturals that happen in our collage are next level. Sports and arts are promoted . Many many clubs are there you can register them . Nss and ncc are there

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very neat and clean . There is not too much strictness . There is a plenty of time to study . Food is provided . Three person in one room. hostel Warden are very friendly. They promote studies. I am very happy me quality is very nice.

Hostel Fee: INR 27000 per year

Admission

I came to this collage by keam entrance exam . I heard about this collage from alumnies and from online medias . I also applies on some government collages but a very high rank is required. Fisat is a self financing collage with good infrastructure and faculty

Faculty

The faculty is well equipped with great knowledge and they are all very helping in our studies. They conduct many class tests and series examination . They help us whenever we need them . Exams here are not too difficult and not too easy

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

There was cut off for the admisiion process i think the cut off was around 45000 in the keam rank. Based on the rank you will get a seat in the merit. There are several scholarship for the students who all are financially not stable...Read More
