Course Curriculum Overview

Diverse Range of Topics: The course cover not just language proficiency but literature, history, culture, tradition and interpretation of that particular language. The variety of languages offered prepares us for the interaction with foreign cultures.

Campus Life

4

The most disheartening factor of DGRS is that it doesn't provide any societies for the growth and development of individual. The fesrs you can count are ethnic day and language day. In library you can get all books related to your course and extra reading materials also. Though faculties are very good in their teaching but the use traditional methods and there are not much technical appliances used for teaching purposes. One of the student running NGO is @dawgs... Which is related to the protection of stray dogs

Admission

Other than this... I applied for other north campus colleges. I chose this one because this was the one I wanted as it offers graduation in different languages which will be a booster for my resume. I never got the chance to be rejected because I had freezed my seat in the 1st cutoff itself. Firstly... You have to give CUET. On the basis of the marks of CUET... You can get admission in Department og Germanic and romance studies through a simple counselling procedure.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is good. It's maybe 15 students per faculty which is a high one by the way. Faculties are so sweet that you can approach them anytime without any hesitation. Some of the best faculties are Namita Mam, Geeta Mam, Mehak mam and Sachita Mam. As this course is a new one, they try to teach us the basics. There are CA and IA of every subject and main external exam after every semester.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Political Science)

Because I had got my first preference in 1st list itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is on a difficult side . There are subjects like statistics and maths which are too practical and hard . But this opens my mind towards practical approaches. Moreover the demand for this course is much more then its related courses like bcom and bba.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I have a keen interest in pursuing in Economics field as a career and hence my degree perfectly aligns with my career goals The curriculum is not very effective when we talk aboht the real world exposure however it is very good for further academic pursuits The curriculum could be a bit more practical based where we get exposure to the real industry as well. The exams are held twice in an year. The difficulty level is moderate
