- The campus is well planned . Everything is under one campus . Hostel and hospitals are nearby . Recently developed buildings are beautifull
- The sports Complex is pretty good . With table tennis , badminton , gym and carrom and chess games .
- The Multispecialty hospital is well built with good security and safe for girls
Dislikes
- The College building is quite old . There is ventilation problem during summer it gets very hot
- The hostels are bit old and need to be renovated .
- Some staffs are very strict about attendance , discipline it’s better to be an obedient student and be not known to them . BOYS TO GIRLS RATIO IS PRETTY DECENT AROUND 1.25:1
Course Curriculum Overview
The intent to help people and given them proper and affordable helath care as a boy growing up in village . Internship provides real life challenges to deal with tense situations and as we proceed through the course we become more experienced and well versed The frequency and timing of exams is quite well planned . It is helpful for the students
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly around 52000 we pay as college admission fees . Mess Bill comes around 34000 . The fees we will b paying will be yearly around exam time . It is the same fees for every student . We can avail Scholarships Such as SSP Scholarship ( applicable for Karnataka students ) , FFE Scholarship , GSK Scholarship . Other than this you will have monthly expenses which you spend .
Campus Life
Every year festivals such as MANTHAN for cultural events , Phoenix for sports events are held . Ganesh habba and Kannada habba is celebrated in a grand manner with cultur and sports events . Library is quite vast and it has all the books required to study . THERE Is also a accessible digital library .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is quite good . The boys hostel for 2 , 3 year is bit old . Whereas Tejas hostel and Charan's hostel is well built . The mess food is the one everyone appreciates . It is quite good and healthy . If you come early for admission you get to choose good rooms in your hostels.
Admission
I applied for Banglore medical college and Mysore medical college . Due to my higher rank in NEET EXAM I was rejected .I applied this college over Bellary because it has better patient exposure and different type of cases can be learnt everyday . The process of admission is through NEET EXAM . You need a set of documents under KEA Board . The admission is quite hectic and should be done carefully
Faculty
There are around 6 to 8 faculties in non clinical subjects . In clinical subjects there are around 15 faculties which is sufficient . The student to faculty relationship is quite okay okay . My favourite faculties are from surgery department . There way of teaching the subject inspires us a lot . All faculties are quite good at teaching . There are 3 internal exams held every year . The exams around easy to moderate . The questions are mostly most repeated and common ones . The course is most relevant and appropriate for the curriculum
