- I really love the environment of chitkara University. You feel connected with the beautiful flowers and gardens. As per the academics faculty is supportive and they try to bring the best out of you and make you feel more confident.
- I really like the way of teaching like presentations, giving day to day life examples and connecting it with our subject make it more easy and fun to learn.
- More curriculum activities to know your self out of your field too. Personally, it gave me better opportunities for me and Bringing the best out of me that I could never dreamt of.
Dislikes
- As we all know attendance sucks in university as it is criteria but is should be decreased like minimum 65 percent. So that every second person could manage with it.
- I personally don't like hostel in the university. The food complaints I always listen from my hostels friends. It's not good as students are paying enough big amount toh get good quality of the meals.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have really the best faculty as per my knowledge. They come up with the best ideas to make us learn and keep us motivating for our career. They have a positive spark which they spread all over when it comes to the course. Yes sometimes they are strict and make you realise that you can't do anything but at the end it's for our betterment we have improved a lot by listening those scoldings . So yes it's being good to acknowledge your self here. Morning exam schedule ( sessional test) is : 9.30 - 10:30 and for Evening time : 2.00 to 3.00 end term we have Morning 9.30 to 12.30
Internships Opportunities
As I am not aware but yes according to your percentage and marks and your discipline you are being given the locations for your internship. You have to give the best to get a good place and good exposure for your learning and practices.
Fees and Financial Aid
As per my knowledge the fees is as same as I mentioned that is 57000 pet semester. All other fees are not mandatory. Yes you have to buy an optometry kit for your academics to enhance your education and practical work. It includes retinoscope and opthalmoscope. Admission fees is for 1000 rs.
Campus Life
Overall I am having a great time with the university I am surely gonna miss this as it's our routine now to come to university at 9.00 am and after couple of months we will not be in the same routine. Yes the campus life is best there are different zones like alpha beta and omega. you have an explore hub and university is based on explore your potential and yes as a student of chitkara University I have explored a lot about me and all thanks to the university.
Admission
Yes I have chosen this one because it has a reputation at global level. Students getting there education from here are at the heights of the success. It's way better than other universities but yes they have a lot of strictness and discipline and at the university level I don't think so it's needed. I didn't get a rejection but yes I wasn't willing and my inner self told me to take admission from here. And I am glad I ammde the right choice. For our field it's scoring 50 above in bio, chemistry and physics pr it could be maths. Students with PCM OR PCMB both can enroll for this you have to just pass the criteria.
Faculty
Umm as per my knowledge about my field there are a lot of teachers to guide you for your subjects and clinical practices. You don't have to wait for a teacher to come and explain like you could get answers quickly. We have three sessional tests out of which two are being considered and 40 percent of them are taken and then by the end we have our end term examination for the same and it's weightage is 60 percent then as in the result we got cgp and sgp and grades. Sgp means grades for that particular semester and cgp means particularly your whole covered semesters within the result of the current semester. If you had any back or suppli in any of the exams you can re-evaluate by giving 1000 and for reappear it's fees is 2500 each subject. ( At my time it was 1000) Exams appears to be moderate.
