Likes

I like the neat an clean campus which is very eco friendly and green in nature.
There is like no need of additional tution as the teachers here are like so supportive
Everthying is perfectly maintained and labs are perfectly maintained.

Dislikes

The college is little strict compared to other colleges
We have to wear uniforms and cant wear colour dresses.
The college is like 8-9kms away from the main town angamaly.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most difficult i have faced is for python subject.There should be like more lab periods other than theory classes.For one series exam it is like 1.5hrs .For 1st sem there is like chemistry instead of physics.And also there is a period for life skills.

Campus Life

IEEE is so good at fisat and is very effectively working at Fisat.And there are like lots of clubs like frames of fisat.There are like cultural programs like Arang and Bharatham over here.This college supports in sports and all cultural programs.

Admission

I choosed fisat bcz of its KTU pass rate and bcz i loved to choose instrumentaion course.By asking to seniors and experience of pass outs.Each period we will get 1% attendance and if we cut we will miss 3% of attendance.

Faculty

So as I am an electronics and instrumentation student the fail rate is low and our HOD Abhi Mathew is so chill and very supportive.Also most faculties are so supportive for extra curricular activities.Mst faculties are so supportive like they even wait for everyone and clear everyone's doubts.So overall faculties are nice.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

There was cut off for the admisiion process i think the cut off was around 45000 in the keam rank. Based on the rank you will get a seat in the merit. There are several scholarship for the students who all are financially not stable...Read More
