Life @ vit

I alwas had an interest in bioengineering amd this college gave me the chance to do btech in the same. The curriculum is all lecture tutorial and practical based which gives the theoretical and practical knowledge we need for real world. They can make maths a bit easy for the bio students who apply for bioengineering. There are 2 exams in almost 4 months mid term and term end amd the maths part is quite difficult

Students can become eligible for placements after the end of 3rd year and only if their credit requirements are fulfilled.some prominent companies which visit for placements are Google, Microsoft, motorq, tcs, etc. highest package offered was 1.3 cr in the year 2023 and the average package is 15-20 lakhs per annum. Vit has a 90 percent placement record

I currently am paying 1 lakhs and 93 thousand for the academic fees, which includes the tution and peripheral fees. You'll have to pay to give supplimentary exams and to watch your paper other than that, during admission you'll need to pay 15 thousand for caution fees. The annual fest of vit is advitya which happens every year. Each and every festival is celebrated in campus. the library is quite large ranging from study material to novels and comics and even mangas. The facilities on campus like the labs and classrooms are a piece of art. Each and every sport can be played on campus and there are groups and teams for sports too. Vit also promotes dance and singing and other talents. There are many groups and clubs on campus run by students with events happening every now and then

The hostel room has a cupboard a study table light fans and everything you can need with WiFi 24x7. The mess food is not soo good and not so baad too. Hostel fees is 1 lakh and 50 thousand per year. It is a very safe and anti ragging hostel registration can be done anytime

I applied in many other colleges like amity, manipal, manit, and chandigarh University. I got addmission in all but I chose vit because it was giving me btech in bioengineering while others were giving me bsc. The admission in vit can be taken after giving vit's entrance test VITEEE. Selection is done on the basis of rank obtained in VITEEE, the prepration is the same as jee.

There are almost 5 to 7 teachers for the same subjectt the faculty is great to interact with jolly and happy. There are 2 exams in a semester (other than the tests given in class) one mid term and one term end. 10 percent of the class fails both. The course is a practical and tutorial type course which helps gain experience in my field
