- Good Infrastructure and clean environment
- The ffcs system which vit provide is very effective…we can choose the class timings
- Every thing is pretty systematic,there wont be any lag in exams or publication of results
Dislikes
- Vit have a security system called “red tag” / the discipline committe
- Too Overcrowded hostels ,couldn’t even stay there peacefully
- Strict rules and they have set an outing timings for hostelers
Course Curriculum Overview
My course provides many projects on every courses (Like for C programming course, i had a project and like for Data mining,Cloud computing,Mobile Applications development,Web Development i have done projects,these are part of the course...projects can be done individually or certain facilities will allot a group
Internships Opportunities
In my course ,after completing the credits i have to do a capstone project for 6 months (final semester)..in BCA there wont be much intership options...we have to do capstone project instead of that.In capstone project we can choose any of topic and can do a real world application based on the topic
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year i paid a tution fee of 55000 + Rs2000 for caution fee and In the hostel i paid an an amount of Rs 115000 + Rs 15000 for caution fee (4 Non-AC ,Non-Veg) Then each year you have to pay the fees by the starting of the year For Bsc computer science its almost same as BCA...
Campus Life
VIT is one of the best on conducting club events,there will club activities almost everyday and OD will be provided for the students...and there are some Main events Riviera and grativas which will be happening 4 days each
Hostel Facilities
I was staying inside the hostel for 2 years ,in my experience the hostel wardens are pretty shit....we can select the room based on our CGPA and in my Non veg mess, food somewhat okay. My overall hostel experience was not satisfying .And vit wont allow students from othere states to stay outside the campus unless they are staying with their parents outside the campus..in that case your parents have come and sign in DSW office
Admission
I have only applied for VIT and got accepted here,First reason for choosing this college was because of its placements...VIT provide many placement opportunities for every departments...my friends are now getting placed
Faculty
Exams are pretty systematic and its kinda easy to get a score in those..BCA is actually an easy course to study.Some Like in every colleges Some Faculties are so chill and some will be very opp to that Some of faculties that i had and liked very much-Dr Senthil Kumar NC ,Dr Bhuvaneshwari
