Student Perspectives

The course curriculum at IIIT Allahabad is highly relevent and comprehensive, offering a strong foundation in technical skills, particularly in IT and ECE. It equips atudents well for real-world applications and higher studies. The exams are very frequent like exam every week. The difficulty is medium.

Around 25% of students get Internship each year. Companies like Google, Sprinklr, DeShaw, etc visit the campus each year. The roles offered are Software Developer, Business Analyst, etc. The interns last 2 months for 3rd year and 6 months for 4th year students

Placements at IIIT Allahabad are excellent. Students become eligible for campus placement in 4th year of college. Companies visited are Oracle, Google, Apple, Nvidia, etc. The highest package each year is around 1.1 crores and average is around 30 lakhs. Almost 100% students get placed each year. I plan to get employeed after getting degree.

The fees structure for Btech at IIIT Allahabad for General/OBC/EWS is as follows: 1st Year: 1,86,700/- 2nd Year: 1,81,200/- 3rd Year: 2,25,250/- 4th Year: 2,49,650/- Hostel Fees: 7000/- for single room and 14000/- for double room each semester Mess Fees: 25000/- each semester The Fees is increasing each year

Campus life at IIIT Allahad is vibrant and engaging. There are 3 annual fests. Cultural, Sports and Technical fests. The library has vast collection of books on each topic. There are many computer and ECE laboratories. The sports facility is not that good compared to other colleges. There is an NGO named Prayaas founded by the students to help underprevileged children.

The hostel facilities are well maintained, offering double and single occupancy rooms. Each room has 2 cupboards, windows for ventilation, tables, chairs etc. The meal offered is not that good and of low quality. The registration process is simple and hostels are affordables (7000/- per person per semester).

I applied to NIT's and IIT's but i chose IIIT because of its strong focus on IT, top placements and advanced curriculum. I was offered ECE in NIT Surathkal but i wanted IT or CS branch. I also got offers from IIT's but the branches were not that i wanted.

The faculty at IIIT Allahabad are higly qualified, with a balanced faculty-to-student ratio that ensures personal attention. The curriculum is relevent and exams are fair, though challenging with minimal failures. There are 2 main exams each sem and many small quizes etc all round the year.
