Campus and infrastructure was good along with the clean surroundings

Course Curriculum Overview

Firstly I'm good in mapping and want to learn cartography closely and along with that when I met teachers for the first time , they are very helpful, According to me only improvement is requested in the field of climatology that is according to me toughest and there should be easy way to learning the climatology

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of my college was 12000 in first year to 10000 in third year all the charges like registration fees, exam fees and all are included in it . Fees was just same for general to sc st all the batchmates

Campus Life

There were always festive season going in the college , this society that society along with diwali melas and concerts. Library was well structured and almost all the books are there from each and every course

Admission

Firstly the main reason kirorimal college is known for its geography coursework and I'm happy that I'm getting the best college for perusing geography . Teachers was my main reason to choose kirorimal college

Faculty

All the teachers were approachable , teacher to student ration was quite impressive , each and every student have easy access to teachers with their problems. There were 2 semesters in one year and exams are quite tough , we have to prepare well to score good .coirse curriculum was perfectly designed

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
