Course Curriculum Overview

5

Food microbiology and safety, microbial diversity, microbial genetics and genome are some aspects that influences me to choose this course. It's a professional degree course.this course has a wide variety of scope in future. This course goes deep into the microbiology topic and it goes through the every aspect of microbiology

Internships Opportunities

5

No companies are providing internship like that to our college. But for my course, our faculties made an arrangement for internship in a research lab related to microbiology. That was very helpful and nice of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 2 sem in on year.we should pay fee semwise, not yearwise. The fee for 1 sem is 21800.but 22900 is paid this sem, because of 1000 union charge and 100 embase charge. For merit students, there are a number of scholarships like central sector scholarship

Campus Life

4

There are so many programs and events held in our college.Starting from freshers day to farewell.Freshers day is a big program conducted for the newcomers.Followinh that, there is onam celebration, union day celebration, magazine release program, food festival, music club program, events related to eid, cultural fest and so on.Arts and sports is another highlight

Admission

*I applied to gems arts and science college,ma din arts and science college and mstm arts and science college. And i choose this college because this is close to house. My sister studied here.By her recommendation,i choose this college *I didn't got rejected.I just didn't want to go to other colleges *

Faculty

5

The faculties is one the best highlight in this college. They are very friendly and their interaction with the students is so good. It's the best thing about the college. They conduct 2 internal exams before the sem exam. It's a good thing that then we become more familiar with the chapter before the main exams.

Other Applied Colleges

M.S.T.M Arts & Science College - [MSTM] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Microbiology)

Their teaching method is not as good as this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
