Likes

Teachers are very helpful and supportive.
Campus is very big there are basketball ground too.
For worship Mandir, Church,Masjid is present.

Dislikes

Semester fees is slightly high than government college
Canteen’s food is not good at all . Quality is too bad
College bus is not present now, which can be trouble for few students

Course Curriculum Overview

There teaching method is very impacting, they finishes the syllabus before 1 - 2 months before semester. There are 4 class assessment 2 semester and 2 practical exam where viva also present. During exam we feel the paper is easy because teachers completed the syllabus so nicely

Internships Opportunities

Intership is not given from the college. I think this is the drawback about this college. If intership is presented then i can say this is the perfect college in Kolkata but for internship it is not! This is need to be rectified.

Placement Experience

Placement is present like wipro, TCS, and etc company came for recruiting. Above 60% scores stude Can seat for the campusing. Highest salary package is 1200000/- per annum. TPO cell work well . Every year placement take place .

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is 20000/- .There are CSE, ECE, EE, CE streams . Diploma ,btech ,mtech and mba is present. School is also present here and here . Here SVMCM ( Swami Vivekananda Scholarship) is available.

Campus Life

My experience in BBIT is very good . Students run social groups , clubs, and here also fews events took place like Fest , Freshers , holi is very uncommon , and many more . Every year before fest football , cricket match took place.

Admission

I choose this college over other colleges because I research many time before taking admission and also listen from my elders that this college teacher's and environment is too good .Placement also took place here .

Faculty

Teacher's are very helpful , support , caring. They are educated ,knowledgeable. The way they teach is very impacting. Teachers like Indrajit sir, trisha mam, rituparna mam, subhadip sir and many more teachers are very good and humble.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical engineers design and build solutions to a range of problems.improving efficiency across wide range of industries. By studying mechanical engineering, I can look forward to good job prospects.high salaries and varied work.my collage has nice equipped laboratories and good classroom.it has well maintained hostel for men. I love the environment of my collage.my collage give importance to both studies and other extracurriculum activities. My favourite teacher is professor sourav das.he can handle any type of students.my collage teacher teaching methods are awesome , teachers serve as instructor who deliver knowledge to their students.through lecture and direct instructions aim to measure the result through testing and assignments. 3 years full time diploma engineering courses that's 1 semester/ 6 month. It is too difficult to pass out of this branch. The syllabus of mechanical engineering is quite huge. One cannot comprehend the vastness of mechanical engineering.

Overall my college is too good for me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took Mechanical Engineering because I really love 3idiots and also machinery things. But when I entered the college it was a completely different experience. The vastness of the subjects was awesome for me and I can give you an overview of my 3years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. The faculty was helpful, they taught us in different manners like through online video or presentation, and they all of them co-operate us. The students to faculty ratio was 10:1. I didn't get industries exposure. The curriculum of 3 years was very useful for me. It build me for the future. I was very satisfied with the college. Teachers are supportive, and there is good infrastructure. The term exam is 3years timely. Yes it is hard on several levels to exam , academic performance. The exam paper is tough for us. It was small difficult to pass on exams.

After the 5th Semester apparently companies start interviewing students. I am going through campusing right now. I have been selected by Aurora for further interviewing. Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.
