Course Curriculum Overview

Very well the curriculum prepares me for real world applicatios or further acadamic pursuits. I think that is enough for students. Teaching methods quality is very good. So I don't think to improve it.

Internships Opportunities

There are so many campanies which comes to my college during internship like Indian Oil, India Carbon Limited, IVRCL, Stone India, SIMPLEX, CESC, GRSE, WBPDCL, Airports Authority of India, BSNL, south Eastern Railway etc.

Placement Experience

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies are BSNL, CESC, TCS, AMAZON, SRMB TMT, IBM, INFOSYS Almost 75-80% students getting placements. After completing my dgree i will do job.

Campus Life

In my college there are so many sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus like tree plantation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, cricek, football, batminton, busketball, gym, swimming pool and have a gaming room.

Admission

I applied so many colleges and i got so many colleges but i choosed this college becausy faculty, placement, environment and big campous. I took admission in this college through counsiling. I have 80% in Hs exam and i got 19k rank in wbjee exam.

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is nice. I like all the faculties because they are very nice person and helpful. There are no faculties whom i don't like.There are so many exams and they are easy to solve. Most of the student clear the exams.

Unbiased Review of JGEC

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
