Comprehensive overview of GJUS&T

I choose food technology because I have a huge interest in food safety and regulatory compliance. I gain interest in food after watching the show called Food factory which is telecast in discovery Channel.

You need to do altleast 2 summer internship for increased in chance to get placed during on campus placement. Every semester you get a mini project. It consist of presentation to evaluate your project.

In 7th semester students eligible for on campus placement drive. Placement is increasing year by year. Average package is 3-4LPA. Almost 100% placement in printing technology. Other departments varies year by year but almost 50-70% students placed.

Per year fees of gjust is 61400 for my batch but fees is increasing every year reasonably. It includes all types of fees such as caution money, development fee, tution fees etc. You also avail for scholarship if you are from TFW category and SC category.

Fest is organised every month by different club of gju. Youth fest is the most common fest held on every year. Other group, club run for a student impact on nurturing their soft skills. Sports facilities is decent.

Newly built hostel is very good and facilities are also good at decent price. But the quality of mess food is very bad. Most of the students ordered food from outside university premises. You can get hostel on the basis of merit.

I applied for niftem, kundli but the fees is very high so I choose gjust, Hisar. The admission process for getting admission is purely on the basis of jee mains scorecard. If seats are left then on the basis of 12th marks.

The faculty to student ratio varies from department to department. In my department every 5 students have 1 teacher. Advisors are enrolled in my department for every student. Exam is not so much tough if you have enough school academic background.
