our course curriculum is subtle and very much interesting we have a lot of subjects to deal with a like planning and designing architecture and many more and in this we have to design a lot we have to paint we have to draw we should have the skills or something like you know it is skills also at the thought process should be quite different from other departmental subjects and the exam structure is like we have mathematics for 120 marks in aptitude for 200 marks and 70 marks for drawings and we have to score high in aptitude and we should securities and score in mathematics and drawing a it's OK to score above 50.

basically I am from first year and college provide placements but we have to go for internships in our own interest relating in 3rd year 4th year and 5th year is complulsory and in according to the present curriculum we have internship in our 4th and 5th year basically what our faculty advisor say is that we can go for internship in every year .

well we had a lot of fest in our institute at first we had innovision and planning and Architecture department had a separate fest likes Srijan in which there was exhibition relating to the paintings then some models and some installations then we had a fest called NITRUTSAV then we had fest called interNIT. NIT what happened people and sports person from every and it came and had the run games your respective games then literature was like only related to our NIT

it's like other institutes only it's 162000 in the very 1st sem and gradually for every second third and fourth respective sems it goes down and remains constant.comparatively to with respect to IIT is the fee structure is little less .

Yaaa our college provides with loan types SBI banks and their is SBI bank in our campus we can go there and we can apply for scholarship loans.and leaving that SBI loan also they just awareness about the other scholarships which are provided by the central government and state government respectively

we have extra curricular activities like NCC and NSS and there are a lot of clubs here we can join them and they will teach us what to do in those clubs and with respect to clubs like we have dance club singing club acting clubs and with respect to their themes and motos they will teachers what to do what not to do and how to do.every club is well maintained and it's very good their well monitored also so there will be no problem relating to clubs yes some clubs are creepy and clumsy

Hostel 7/10 infrastructure is nice 8/10 facilities are also good 7/10.every hostel is an old building but every interval of every 2-3 months they are painted and their well decorated and prope care is taken

Alumni network is very nice. they are very helpful in in every step and they are in touch with us at the every time they ask her how is your preparation going on and the teachers how to do the problems

I applied for JEE PAPER 2 . And gave paper 2 for B Arch. After the results were out and we were asked to opt of our institution name list then I opted for rourkela at the first place. And I fulfilled all the criteria so I was given NIT rourkela. THEN THEY GIVE A DATE TO ATTEND THE DOCUMENTATION PROGRAM AND ON THE DAY OF DOCUMENTATION PROGRAM I CAME WITH MY DOCUMENTS LIKE 10TH CERTIFICATE THEN MY CASTE CERTIFICATE MY FATHER'S INCOME CERTIFICATE THEN OTHER CARD DOCUMENTS RELATED TO MY 10 + 2 12TH CLASS CERTIFICATE.THEN THEY WILL VERIFY EACH AND EVERY DOCUMENT CAREFULLY AND ACCORDING TO AUGUST WE ARE CASTE AND INCOME WE HAVE TO DEPOSIT THE MONEY I MEAN WE HAVE TO PAY THE FEES EARLY THEN AFTER THE PAGE FEES PAYMENT WILL GET A RECEIPT AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ATTEND THE REGISTRATION PROGRAM IN OUR OWN DEPARTMENT THEN WE HAVE TO GO TO OUR DEPARTMENTAL OFFICE THEN OUR REGISTRATION WILL BE DONE THAT MUCH.

our faculty are basically everyone has done their Masters in IIT and NIT and we got a good faculty here and a few of them are PhD graduates also .so we have good faculty here they are well experienced and their teaching is also good
