Likes
- One of the various things that I liked bout the college is that it conducts a lot of workshops aswell as hackathons and provides various internship opportunities and acces to multiple labs including the Apple lab
- It also conducts one of the biggest cultural fest which is free of cost to dy patil students
- The campus itself is massive with our very own dy patil stadium
Dislikes
- I feel AC should be included in every classroom ,only labs and few of the classrooms have AC
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and the syllabus that we are provided especially for Artificial intelligence and data science is actually quite satisfactory and it includes every topic that is needed for us in the future we have exams everything month or every two months IA and mid sem exams are of 1hr which in difficulty level I would say mediocre whereas endsems are of 3hrs and the difficulty level would be quite difficult
Internships Opportunities
There's been various internship opportunities that have been provided to us ranging from Swiggy to JP Morgan we also have a summer internship program where the uni provides us with internships We are made to make a mini project every semester which is then encouraged by the faculty to patent it so that it can be a great mention in ur CV
Placement Experience
We are eligible for college placements from the 7th sem itself we have a 100% placement One of the major companies that visit are IBM,tcs,J.P. Morgan ,oracle The highest package would be of 19lpa My plans are to pursue masters after my graduation
Fees and Financial Aid
The year comprises of two semesters ,with each semester we have to pay an amount of 1.9lacs there was any miscellaneous fees as such there was just a registration fees of 500 Our entire fees that we pay includes all the materials we get for journal submission aswell as entry into every labs that are present in the college. There's no different fees for different categories everyone pays the same amount There's no scholarships that are provided as far as I know
Campus Life
We have a lot of cultural fests and different events organized on different occasions We have major hackathons that are hosted through out the year making it perfect to build up our resume Our uni is known for sports having the Indian team come and practice from time to time in our dy patil stadium aswell as the recent FIFA women's tournament which was held in our uni
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for a hostel outside the uni The mess is really good It comprises of all the basic and necessary requirements that a room must have The hostel is quite affordable the registration process for it only includes for u to be a student of the college
Admission
One of the various reasons I chose this college was because it's more closer to home and compared to other colleges as much as they focus on curriculum they also focus on extra curriculum making it the perfect balance for me to have The admission process for this college is via writing either JEE or CUET
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is really good and the faculty is ready to answer any question of the students and is 24/7 available Our each sem comprises of 2 IA(internal assessments) which is of 20marks each , A mid sem exam which is of 20 marks and then oral exam which is 10 marks and practical exam and a final end sem exam which is of 60 marks
