What Students Say?
Likes
- The Exposure we get is something that is very useful. The opportunity to network is endless due to the constant fests that take place across an entire semester. It helps you gain experience and really push your limits.
- The competitive college environment. In terms of academic, extracurricular and everything it is very motivating and really helps you exceed your own expectations
Dislikes
- The Faculty: At least in my department the proffesors are teaching beyond their expertise and are egotistical.
- The Workload: The work is very tedious and taxing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course that i am doing is something that is in demand right now. It has the right balance of finance and data analytics. We have a blend of coding languages, statististics, finance and accounting.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Since I am an NRI I Pay a higher fee which is 210000 rupees in total. The normal fee for my course is 130000 rupees. The fee varies for different students. For ex. Karnataka Domicile Students pay 110000 rupees, as they get a 20000 rupees scholarship.
Campus Life
Its amazing im part of a band, a theatre club and an analytics club. The opportunity to do more than just academics is amazing. The exposure and the chance to compete with the best of the best is what makes this college attractive. I had also represented the university cricket team. We have pretty ordinary classrooms very school like with a projector and a sound system.
Admission
I chose this college because of its accreditation and the courses it was offering. I was looking for a college with exposure and opportunity, and christ was that college. I applied to only two and both in bangalore. Christ was the best of the two.
Faculty
The Faculty has its pros and cons. Certain proffesors are very . insightful and helpful and approachable. While most of them lack basic knowledge of the subject and have a fragile ego. We have 2 exams in the semester the mid sem and the end sems and 3 internal assessments (CIA).
