Important information for freshers

A thing i hate most in my college is its compact area. There are about 10 to 12 courses are studied in college but the area in our college is too small to adjust large number of student. I always feel very crowded every time.

I think the course they study wants upgradation. Since this college is affiliated with punjab technical university. There are 2 semester per year odd sem is at April-May and even sem at nov-dec. These semester exam is organised by PTU.

Placement and job opportunities is very good in our college. In last year a student got highest package of arround 32 laks per annum which is good. I meet with my seniors they told me that there are many job opportunities if your academic is good and placed with good package.

Many events like Parivartan, Freshers, Radio day, Smart India Hackathon, MUN,etc. There are many more opportunities given to students to show there talents in either technical or non technical events.

Fee structure are Rs.43,000 per semester for acedmics study. For hostel Rs.75,000 per year for non ac and Rs.85,000 per year for ac. Also they take Rs.700 per student for parivartan festival every year, Rs.1420 per student for exam fee every year. I think acedmic fee is feasible but hostel fee is quite expensive.

It is very bad that loan or schorship are only for students belongs to punjab region, Chandigarh region or lashmir region no any schorship for students come from other states. Our college also provide schorship in bus or train fare for students come daily from local region.

Labs are not too good some components in lab for experiment are missing or damaged. And if all components are present in one lab then the teacher are unable to explain the experiment properly. On the other hand sports activities are good many tournaments are organised e.g. cricket tournament, football tournament, basketball tournament etc.

Yes, i meet my senior students daily. They guid us properly. They tell us that a student with good communication and technical knowlege can placed at reputed company. They gives us proper knowledge how to take a job in reputed companies.

Admission process is very simple you come with your proper documents and take admission. First i came to Chandigarh with my uncle and this college is located at Mohali not chandigarh. I gather some information about this institution about placement which is quite good and than i take admission.

Honestly, our college faculty is not too good because there study pattern is not proper. They come to class and open there notes and start copy there notes to the whiteboard. Also there are very good and sincere faculty who understands students and study properly clear there douts and i also don't want to miss those faculties class because there class is very interesting and i don't want to miss.
