Likes
- The infrastructure was so good and my college located at venkatapur,Jodimetla. There are 8 blocks and there is a seperate block for library known as Central Library.
- There are Experienced Faculty and Placement Trainings also happens from 2nd year. Teaching will be good. There are many clubs (tech and non-tech) to get experience
- Taking care of students and Canteen food was too good. Friendly Environment and Good washrooms ,good Drinking Water Facility
Dislikes
- Our college is Most populated College in Telangana because of University.In our Campus BBA , BPharmacy and many more streams were available.Our College strength was around 10000
- We face Traffic near our college because of lot of students who come by their own vehicles more over we struggle to park our vehicles at parking slot.
- There will be no place available in canteen in lunch time. So we adjust ourself and completes our lunch in Class room. Conducting Fests in our college was very very very less
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college curriculum was good and this is similar to jntu and our curriculam was followed according to the plan. Compare to previous year curriculam our curriculam was so good. untill and unless our portion is completed exams are not conducted.Each and every topic is explained in class.
Placement Experience
From 4-1 placements get started. Mostly Service based companies like tech mahindra , Infosys , TCS , Accenture will be coming.Only few product based companies like DarwinBox and others will be coming. The highest package till date was 38LPA placed in Amazon and average package was 6LPA. A student should have >7.0 GPA with no active backlogs to eligible in placement cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are two types of quota's.One is Management quota and other is Eamcet Quota.I got seat in Eamcet quota.My admission fee was 21000(including maintainence) and Tution fee was 1,35,000.I get 35000 scholaship from govt every year.I pay 100000 tution fee and 8000 Maintainence fee.Totally i pay 1,08,000 per year and i pay 1500 for exam fee
Campus Life
There are lot of clubs including technical and non-technical.there are sports clubs too like cricket, football, basketball and many others. Students can join these clubs in 1st year and show case their talent. There are many coding clubs for each departments. Non technical clubs like NCC(Air Wing) , NSS ,Kriya present in campus.
Hostel Facilities
For each floor there are 20 rooms.There is boys and girls hostel separately. Hostel food was average and non veg will be served once in a week. Washing machines are available and there are AC and Non AC rooms. Hostel has floors. In eacch room 4-5 people were there.There are many private hostels available which are near to college.
Admission
Previously i got in SNIST college IT course in EAMCET counselling but I'm intrested in CSE.So i joined in Anurag University.More Over this college is University and university environment will be diffenent from another colleges. I want to experience in university. There many college buses too.There ia AnuragCET exam similar to EAMCET,12th grade students are eligible for this or you can get seat through EAMCET also.There is Management quota too but its expensive.
Faculty
There are around 800 faculty members(including lab incharges) in our college according to our strength. for every 15 student there is one faculty. There are few faculties who don't know subject.These people read from ppt's apart from delivering the content from the subject.Nearly 30% of faculty are there.There are few faculty who deliver good content and explains well(mainly technical training faculty).In every sem there are 2 mids,1 internal,1 external,and few slip test exams for internal marks.These exams are not much hard.An average student can write these exams if we study
