My Life at SOL

This Course is an entry level course for anyone planning to further study any subject related to commerce. This course has a high level of applicability in the real world and is easy to land a starting job.

The Complete Yearly Fees I paid was around 10,000 including all the other fees. My Batchmates all paid similar amounts. My Course was a Open Course in which many fees such as lab fees, and other on site or infrastructure related fees were omitted.

Since SOL is focused on distance education,the traditional daily interaction with peers may not be as frequent as other colleges. But, despite the distance-learning setup, SOL does have a vibrant study community, and studentsform informal groups to help each other.

I chose this college as it allowed me to freely arrange my learning time and also pursue other learning programs. I did not get rejected from any college I applied to. It is extremely easy to apply to the college

The faculty and student relationsip at the college is very distant. At an open college we had very limited classes taking place and they were not compulsory. This meant that we had extremely limited interaction with the faculty members however during each meeting and class, the faculty members made sure that every day we appeared in the college we had great experience. We had annual exams taking place and as such with a 3 year course, I took 3 exams for the total duration and each time was a good and easy experience.
