Relaity of kmit

I would rate it 9/10. The aspects that inspired me for my current curriculum is that the number of placements they are providing for the students despite the current situations in the software field they are making a lot of effort for the students They make us do many projects regarding real time applications. The frequency of exams is really high because we kept on having exams continuously for almost a month and before that also we have unit tests and more assessments like ppt presentations,vivas etc. But faculty is good they do teach really nice and they do provide us with the notes and reference materials through which we can understand and analyse easily. I do not think they need more different teaching methods as they introduced many different applicatio for students like providing sources for self learning and testing. They do not keep students ideal at any cost they will give something or the other for the betterment of the students which some times seem frustrating enough.

There are more than 150 companies visiting our college and providing placements. And some do provide interships with stipends also. There are many of seniors whom i know that are doing internships and getting stipends. Coming to projects and its stipends, management gives you different domain like cyber security, medical etc and you will select a domain and start to do project right from your 2nd year 1st semester. They give you platforms to learn the essentials for the project. After you are done making the project industrial professionals are called to the campus and they will verify the projects you made and grade you. If there are exceptionally good projects they even get copyrights and they can staet their own start up. And some of the seniors have the copyrights for some projects and even started the startups. Even first years do a project but not realted to cs but other fields like electronics mechanical etc. By the end of the 3rd year you will atleast have 2 projects in resume

There are campus placements in my college and they do offer good packages From 3rd year that is from 5th or 6th semester students eligible for the campus placements Faculty helps us make some projects which helps us to get the placement offers. College provides special course in 3-2 which is called finishing school where they train you exclusively for placements and make sure you get placed.I don't exactly know how many companies visit our college but over 150 companies visited our campus last academic year Highest package last year is 1.2 crore per annum And the average package is 10 lakh per annum 1.2 crore was an abroad offer which is in euros Over 85 percentage people are getting placed every year My plans after getting my degree is to do job for 2 to 3 years and earn the money which is required for the future studies like master of sciences I'm more interested in remote jobs where I can work for abroad companies being in my hometown itself which makes my life much more easier

The fees for all the years is same There is no increase or decrease in the fees as the academic year increases Total fee for my education is 103000 for my first year and same with my rest of the education in that college it doesn't have hostel. Extra fee to be paid for cse is 5000 + 2000 in first year and for the rest of the years it will be 5000. For non cse it is 3000 per year. No extra charges are being collected in the college except for the exams id cards and required documents stuff It actually provides with full fee reimbursement if students get less that 10k rank(only homestate) If students are from other state and they got less than 10k rank then they would get 35000 of reimbursement They provide nice internships campus placements. They do award price money if students win in any competition held outside or inside the campus Job role is quite good People who have come through management quota, donations will be around 12lakh and yearly fee will be same as rest of the studen

Basically we don't much fests in our college We have only 3 in total which are navrass patang Utsav and kmit evening and from our academic year we are having nexus fest around m. But they do make these fests grandly And they celebrate Hindu festivals like bathukamma and all. Our Library consists of wide variety of books we can get any boom from library. They provide us with Library cards through which we can borrow books and return it to the library again even journals are available on wide variety of topics Every classroom consists of a projector, cctv cameras. From 2nd year we do have special classes which helps students to discuss with each other and do things which helps us in doing team work. We have sports club I myself is a part of taekwondo and it's quite good as already got my blue belt and I'm going participate in university competition. There are many student run social communities like nss street cause and rotaract in my college which supports many government programs.

I found every aspect of my college easy to find I got the seat through ts eamcet in which I scored 4401 rank which made my way easy to join kmit easily being other state student. I choose this college because of its placements rate and the curriculum they follow.They have different roadmaps for all the years which lead to success in placements As I'm from Andhra Pradesh i didnt apply for any other college because i don't have any other reservation than ews so my chances of getting admission will be really less for any other college like cbit osmania or jntuh. My college do provide good placements Exam through which I got the admission is a state wide exam which can be written by other state students as well. Eligibility will be less than 10k rank in ts eamcet. Ts eamcet has to be qualified and reservation criterias are also cheched for the admission. Mostly it will go upto 35k for disabled students. The overall admission experience is good as they give you step by step instructions.

faculty-to-student ratio will be approximately 1:40. Most of the faculty are approachable and maintain good relationships with students. I liked my java mam so much her name Hima Bindhu. She teaches so well so her approach of explaining is so good. She will be so friendly with students. I dislike our hod rupa mam . Being a cr i have often meetings with her and she passes information very late. The most frustrating thing is that they decreased our lunch timings and when went to talk to her she was like no we are not increasing it. We will have 2 unit tests before mid 1 and 2 unit tests before mid 2. They will be moderately difficult if you read and will be conducted very strictly (like mids they will give schedule for unit tests also). Some students who don't attend classses and doesn't concentrate on the lectures will automatically fail the exams as they don't read. The course curriculum is very relevant to the skills they are teaching us. Coding clubs are there to enhance your skills.
