Dislikes
- Campus size, it is very small and insufficient
- Infrastructure is very minimal and doesn't look like an engineering college
- No hostel facility for non-locals, no bus facility for day scholars
Course Curriculum Overview
The academic calendar follows JNTUH regulations and exams are conducted based on these regulations. It consists of internals (mid-term examinations) and externals (semester exams) for theoretical approach. And for labs they have same internals and externals. The frequency of exams is around once in a month. The curriculum prepares us to be ready and well knowledged by the time of semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are a good number of companies which offer internship for students. Salesforce is one such company which provides internship with around 70k stipend. Projects are done by students based on several web development applications. Students are free to explore their skills and do projects in their specialised field. These projects add great value to their resume's
Placement Experience
The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees for a student who joined through EAMCET counselling is areound 108500. It is comparatively low when compared to other engineering colleges in Hyderabad. For students who want to get admission through Management quota you have to visit the college for fee particulars, as it depends on individual's academic excellence and in some cases it is negotiable (roughly around 12-17 lakhs).
Campus Life
The events are a bit of disapointment in this college. There are around 3-4 events in a year. The classrooms are well equipped with wifi facilities. Library is well equipped with all the academic stuff in our curriculum and also consists of extra knowledgeable books. Sports are encouraged and a club called Kreeda is specially maintained for sports during college hours/ after college hours. Student-welfare clubs like Street cause, NSS are also available to provide student services to people.
Admission
According to my EAMCET rank, I was allocated in this college during counselling. And then I explored the college and alumni of the college for genuine suggestions. Comparatively the placements and industry exposure in this college is high with respect to other colleges, which made me choose this college.
Faculty
There are well experienced faculty who provide resources to students and they are quite approachable. They are not too top notch and also not unskilled, it all depends on students how they utilise them and their resources. Exams are conducted often to test our abilities and the difficulty level is medium. Around 10% students fail to clear the semester exams.
Night Life
There is no nightlife in this college. The college doesn't have any hostel facility as the campus size is very small. There are hostels nearby college for girls and boys with specified room sharings. As college is in the middle of the city, students can bunk and hangout nearby places easily. Most of the places take less than half an hour to reach
