Faculty members which are very helpful and a ocean of knowledge

Dislikes

hostel service is not so good as I thought
It is outside of city area so we have to go about 10-15 km away to get services

Course Curriculum Overview

The course cirriculum is great. We have some practical subjects and it done in labs very efficiently. These activities train us for our bright future. Thier exams are also taken thrice in a semester as explained above.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements of our college is outstanding. From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like amazon, flipkart, IBM, and many more visited last year. The highest package was 31 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue for masters from usa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

My course fee is 1,30,000 per semester. There is a scholarship test by the university itself names CUCET. Student can grab the scholarship according to thier marks in the test. Although there 100% schloarship for SC/ST. To maintain the schloarship you have to maintain cgpa of 7.5 every semester.

Campus Life

Talking about campus life, it is really a fun. The university conducts time to time fests. Many clubs are also there in which you can learn a skill or enjoy your hobby. Library has a large availability of books. Each classroom has well air condioners and has fitted with projectors.

Admission

In my locality Chandigarh University is the best college I know. It has many facilities. It has well maintained labs, Cultural fests and many more things. The admission procedure is also very simple as compared to other colleges.

Faculty

Faculty members are very helpful and well educated. Some of them are phd. There are 3 exams in the whole semester. 1st and 2nd is mst(mid semester test) and 3rd one is end semester exam. Mst are for internal marks. They are of 20 marks each subject. In my course there are 8 subjects.

Early internship and placement opportunities with good infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

In CSE, companies start to come in 6th semester for campus placements (few companies also come in 5th). In my course around 70% students secure placements. The highest package offered last year was 52 LPA and the average package is 5LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include Amazon, Cisco, Paypal, Virtusa, Deloitte, among others.

PEC- A complete overview

Placement Experience:

PEC offers a good amount of on-campus companies which provide internships and placements. From 6th semester students become eligible for internships and placements. This provides an edge to students of pec compared to other colleges as they have more time to get placed. Various companies like Microsoft, Google, Uber, DE SHAW, phonepe, Natwest, Amdocs, Cisco, and a number of others companies make over overall 600+ offers. The highest package is offered by Microsoft of 54 lakhs and Uber offers the highest paid internship for 2lakh per month.

LIFE AT UIET CHANDIGARH

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible only after the 8th sem and placements are quite decent looking at the college the highest placement here was around 25 lpa on campus and 42 lpa off campus. Many good companies visit our college as well

College life ups and downs

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good, if you score an average cgpa pf 7.5 , you can get a pretty good Placement, students become eligible for sitting in the placements in 3rd year, many major companies come to this college, but personally i might go for masters degree after this

Placement Experience:

Ccet is a good college

Admission:

I have got admission in the last round JAC(post jee exams).JAC allows every candidate of jee exam to find their relevant colleges according to their marks.The round are held in between of april and june (supposed).The dates are shown on the result site and the head office becomes UIET Sec 24chd for chd and dont know for other states,Fee for the seat is paid for three rounds but for the fourth round college fees is paid before hand that means if you are selected for the seat your money will be paid as fees in the college and if not your money will be returned.In every college 7day imteractive session is organised so that the students have no problems in their further sessions. I opt for this course as it allows maximum field work that is most requires during placements.This allows me to challenge my limits and endure my patience and stress level.Moreover it enables me to interact with the market and different people that endures my anger management.At end the course helps in personality development

My last two options were UPES and CU, and got scholarships in both of these too. But the main reason i chose CU was that i was getting a 50% scholarship here compared to 25% in UPES. The admission process is pretty simple, and can be done online through the website.
