Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had a deep love to the pets which made me choose this course and treating them gives immense pleasure Curriculum is very relevant as in the end it allows us to have a clinical knowledge and practise medicine and entrepreneurship at the end. Improvements should include in the equipments of endoscopy and other electronic operated technologies.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is arranged from the college itself during the last year of the course. After that companies like venkateshwara hatchries, vettic are frequent approachers. Projects can be completed during the tenure of internship such as research on fodder and pharma related.

Placement Experience

4

From internship onwards students are eligible for th placements. Mainly many sectors like veterinary clinics, animal genetics, pharmacy, fodder production employ the students. Highest packages ranges around 70000 rupees per month after completion of MVsc and lowest ranges around 45000 rupees with an average of 55000 rupees

Total yearly tution fees - 80000( 1st year) Total duration of 5.5 years it costs about 32000 and 1 year internship one will be paid 18000 per month. SC, ST - 30000 tution fees along with free laptop in 1st year Hostel fees - cost 3800- 4200 per month including mess charges

Classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Sports are held yearly including both inddor and outdoor games group and individual games like ffotball, basketball, cricket.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities very good with neat and tidy well maintained rooms . Room includes 3 fellows with each a table and chair and shelf for personal use. Meal is very healthy and tasty quantity is little less during the breakfast hours. Affordability is very good as charges are 4000 per month including mess charges

Admission

I applied this college because of its location in banglore city which makes more pets to be approachable l got confirmed due to the good grades however one can choose GADVASU college and mumbai veterinary college if u r applying from neet and vci counselling. Cut offs include 600 marks in neet 2023 and less than 1500 rank in kcet and agricultural quota the rank should be less than 300.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is around 1 : 30. Faculties are very much approachabe even during non teaching sessions. The student teacher relationship is very healthy respecting the boundaries and discussions of subject related matters. I liked dr. Manjunath and dr. Bharat due to their proficient teaching skills and in depth subject knowledge. There are 3 internals with a jap of 3 months they are moderately difficult as one needs minimum 50 percent marks to clear course is very much relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

People think that this course is good if one don't get the MBBS seat but in my view it's wrong . Once you enter this field you'll discover vast opportunities here . For the real world application you'll start to learn from the very first day each and everyday of your degree is important because you learn the things which you'll use in the field Internals are taken every 2 to 3 months but their difficulty level is harder than the externals since it prepares you for the internals

All faculty of almost all departments are Ph.D. holders they teach through presentations with pictures and practical's, and they give a clear-cut explanation. Exams: 3 internals per year of which best of the 2 considered and finally externals include both theory and practicals in which each department has 2 papers and it was difficult to pass some exams
