Admission to the undergraduate course is done partly through combined counselling held by Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (85% seats) and partly through the Veterinary Council of India (15% seats).
Admission to the postgraduate course and doctoral course is done through the admission process held by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (for candidates belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh) and also through the admission procedure held by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (for non-residents of Andhra Pradesh).

- Candidates seeking admission through the combined counselling held by Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University must go to the official website and fill the application form.
- The University will release a list on the basis of which the candidate will be allotted certain college(s).
