Review of the College by Current Student

Course curriculum is actually decided by VCI and from 2024 session , MSVE-24 will be effective and is really well structured. All the related subjects are taught accordingly. But along with time focus on para clinical subjects should be there.

The last one is completely internship program. Students are divided in groups and are posted at different stations. This is really good and helps the students in getting a proper exposure. The stipend is around 17k per month which is about to be increased.

Per annum the fees is around 50000/- and a hostel fees of 8000(refundable at last). A lot of scholarship like SSP for Karnataka students, ICAR scholarship worth 36000/- is awarded to students who perform well in academics.

Although on the academics side this is the best veterinary institute in the country but if one is fond of more fest and events then this is turn off for those students. Only limited cultural events and fest are organised.

Hostel is alloted during admission process only. 2-3 students share one room and are provided with a bed, chair, table and cupboard. The hostel the one veg mess and one non veg mess and a gym . Along with this there's a reading room and TV room. Monthly mess bill is around 3.5k.

The admission is solely done on the basis of NEET score for All India Quota and KCET for state students. The entire process is under the control of KVAFS University and VCI. So one has to score very well in NEET to get into this college.

For every subject, in each department there are at least three professors. They all are well qualified, all of them have studied from IVRI and all of them have good knowledge about the subjects. And student can go to them anytime and ask anything.
