The faculty and the facilities provided are good

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is up to date and and there are a couple of exams every sem to check the students performance. The subjects like basic electrical engineering is quite outdated in syllabus.There are practicals for every subject which is a good thing.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

The companies that come for placements are like Google tcs Microsoft paytm and many other tech giants.the highest package last year was 54 lpa and there are around 40-50 percent placements in reality.i too seek campus placement after getting my degree.students are eligible for internship in 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of my course is about 3 lakh rupees...there was some scholarship as per 12th percentage...the tution fee is about 2.5 lakh per year and admission fee of 10k lab fee around 5k ....my batch mates also have the same fee structure but there is some difference of around 20-30k....

Campus Life

The university is well equipped in all aspects like library sports arena and there are all sorts of books available. There are frequent fests held in the campus and there are many clubs that one can join like science club music club etc.

Admission

I seeked admission in DIT but it was quite far from my place and gehu was a better option in terms of transport and had slightly better reputation in terms of teaching and placements . Here admission in done on the basis of jee rank and 12th percentage.

Faculty

The faculty is supportive ....all the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable...our tcs teacher and maths teacher are among the best.the curriculum is also quite relevant and the exams are up to the mark.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

IIT ROORKEE in a nut-shell

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Specific aspects of the circullum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the computer science department as I love knowing about the computer and the efforts of making daily life problems easy and best thing is that if know how to use the computer well you can earn well enough of money in this world the world only cares about that you have money or not if have they will give you respect if don't have it they treat you like shit.

The review from heart

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
