I have got admission in this colege on the basis of COMEDK (consortium of medical engineering and dentalcoleges of karnataka ) rank. COMEDK is the engineering entrance examination which helds every year in the month of may i have attempted this examination in the year 2014 in which i have secured 14674 rank this rank helped me to opt nitte meenakshi institute of technology in counscelling sessions which was managd by comedk management.

Course regarding every branch is not that much bulky what we heard before by our parents and the faculty members and the hod's of respective branches are highly educated/high degree holdesrs also of very friendly nature they remains keen to explore their knowledge to students.

Some famous companies which came for campus placements are dell, yahoo, delloite, acenture, cognizat, tech mahindra, infosys, tcs etc.

As detailed above, the placement and job opprtunities in this colege is awesome you did not need to worry about placemnents as it is well cared by the placement department of the college if you score above 7.0 cgpa per year then you must be ready on 4th year to get placed in a reputed company.

Nmit celebrates couples of festivals like holi, diwali, ganesh chaturthi,durga puja etc also it celebrates one fest popularly known as"anaadyanta" the name anaadyanta is very much famous in whole karnataka.many students from other colleges of karnataka and from many other states comes to participate in anaadyanta annual techno fest competitions its a quite big celebration which is done for 4 5 days if you got to attend this fest then you must be gonna kill it it with whole enjoyment.

Hostels of this collge are well maintained and always clean.there are total 6 hostels situated inside the campus only among which 4 are boys and other 2 are girls hostels every year students has their sepearate hostels. hostels rates are about 44k per year which is also low as compared to facilities provide whol hostel has the wifi connectivity with amazng speed but with some limitations on the scale of 10 food quality of mess can be rated by 8.

Campus life lush green campus with many hangout places like monkey park, canten, bbc, nfh court etc my one and half had passed and i had whole heartedly enjoyed my campus life campus has almost equal male female ratio but localites ratios are more still density was of northees was also not bad.

Seniors are very friendly their is no plaace for ragging in this college they will treat you like younger brothers if you are good in nature.
