Infrastructure of this college is just awesome.
You will get many facilities here for research and all.

Dislikes

The crowd is too much here. Didn’t expected this much. Around 5000 students or more
Less crowd from North. Like you will many people from North but not as much as compared to people from West Bengal.

Course Curriculum Overview

Like as the national education policy. This college is following the extra subjects such as biology, Environa Science, etc. Then there is physics, chemistry, Mathematics, Programming lab, etc. Here things based practical labs too which is a good part for someone who want to pursue in research.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are internship opportunities in this college. Here you can get paid internship if you will having a good CGPA and good skills. There are many seniors who were provided with internship. One of the senior even got internship in google, California. So its good too. You just need skills for that.

Placement Experience

The placements are quite will here. I would say that if you will be able to manage the CGPA above 8.5 and will have coding talent then you will be getting a good job here. Then there are many clubs like of - google, Microsoft , etc. yes so placement are quite well here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

If you come under top 1000 in KIITEE exam then u will be having a scholarship which will last for 4 years in BTech course if you will follow the requirements for it. Like maintaining the CGPA above 7.5, be in discipline, etc. The scholarship will be of 10000 per month in your bank account.

Campus Life

The campus live is fantastic here you just gotta make friends and just explore the campus with them. You will be lost in the beauty of this campus. Then socially is also good here. Like there are many social clubs too.

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for hostel. My room falls in three bed with premium category. The word premier just signifies that there is a attached bathroom in your room. And yes the rooms are pretty well. And if you are a girl then you will be getting hostels like hotels. The meal is kinda above average too.

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year

Admission

First of all this college was having such a magnificent campus like our seniors say its so big that you will not be able to explored it fully even in 4 years. Then I saw the growth rate of this college was good too. And one of my relative has studies from here who is currently working in Amazon so he suggested me this college over other colleges.

Faculty

The faculty here is good till now. They all are highly qualified. Particularly in my section they are IIT Graduates. They have done PHd. Also they have perused their studies from renowned universities which are outside the India.

IIIT Bhubaneswar review

Placement Experience:

From the start of the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. The placement used to be so good and the graph was increasing exponentially. But for to recession, last year's placements were not good at all. There was almost 100% placement in CSE, IT and CE branches and 80% in ETC and EEE. But due to the recession, it dropped drastically. The highest package provided on campus is 39LPA by media.net, taking only one student. The average salary used to be 12LPA which dropped to 7LPA due to the recession. The condition of placement cells is not good currently and many students are in doubt regarding their placements. Many are opting for higher studies or trying off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is good. Even I am placed in a reputed core company. Majority of the students get placed. The remaining also prepares for higher studies through GATE and CAT. Being in the capital city, the advantage of access to reputed coaching institutes also makes the college favourable. Students are eligible to sit in the placements in the final year. Though some third-year students also get pre-placement offers after doing certain internships. Maruti Suzuki, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Tata Advanced Systems, TCS (Digital and Ninja), Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, JK papers, Robert Bosch etc are some of the highlights.

KIIT-my experience

one of the reason i have to say is it has its own identity. It is right now the top 6th university in the country. The kiit tag does help in applying for job. I applied to Manipal university and i did get IT in it but i didnt choose manipal because of personal issues rather than the college itself. You have to perform well in the kiitee exam. yes i choose this college over all the other private colleges in INDIA. I applied to all iits and nits through JEE but managed to score only 91.23 percentile, which was not enough to get into any good NIT with cs. a glimpse of KIIT

i chose this college for some personal reasons, coz my elder brother was also here. other than that it provided good scholarship and the placements are very much simliar to other private colleges of the similar category. i couldnt get into government colleges for my desired course. the admission process is through KIITEE and even through JEE mains, the KIITEE has 3 phases. it is not that difficult to get CSE in KIIT and even if you get a rank under 1000 , you are provided a merit scholarship...Read More
