About BCET
Balasore College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) is a private engineering college in Balasore district of Orissa. It was established in 2001 by Fakir Mohan Educational and Charitable Trust. BCET Balasore is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela.
- It is an AICTE approved institute and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute
- The college is situated at Sergarh about 8km from Balasore in an area of 12 acres of lush green environment. The college provides modern teaching facilities with State-of -Art Laboratories.
- BCET has corporate tie-ups with reputed companies for providing state of the art training in the latest technology within the Campus itself
- The college has a separate Training and Placement Cell. The cell acts as a coordinator for the Industrial Training and Placement of pre-final and final year students

- BCET offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses with an annual intake of 756 students.
- Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate [M. Tech., MBA, MCA] courses are made through Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) conducted by Govt. of Orissa
Facilities: BCET provides all the necessary facilities to the engineering students. Some of them are detailed below-
- Library- College library has more than 25,000 books, large volume of journals and periodicals
- Conference Hall- BCET has a fully air-conditioned conference hall having seating capacity 300 with featuring modern audio- visual equipment for meeting and conferences.
- Computer Facilities- Separate internet laboratories with 2Mbps dedicated leased line internet connection to provide internet access for students.
Festival:
- CHARISMA- It is the annual youth festival that is the most awesomely celebrated event of the institute which integrates professionals from academic, Research Industry, Glamour and Social Work.

- Teaching process. the teachers are quite friendly and help the students in progressing in their field.
- Transportation facilities provided for internship purposes.
Dislikes
- unavailability of various clubs like tech club, literature club, robotics club, etc. which holds the interest of most of students.
Admission:
The admission process is quite similar to other engineering colleges. Here, they generally look forward to your OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) & JEE marks for quiet reservation and lower tution fees according to ran. The students also get admission without any entrances by giving the exact fees as per the fee structure.

- The faculty of our campus are very good.
- The canteen foods are quite good when they are provided right after the making.
Admission:
The course requires the student to have appeared for JEE Mains and must have secured 70% in Maths and Science. The application form and application fees are only provided in the college and application dates are also provided in the College. The reservation benefits are there is a cut off in the college and hostel fees upto 40 to 50%. The examinations are on time and the difficulty level are neither very hard nor easy, just neutral.

- Fees wise it is not that much impressive
- Teachers are not that much friendly and supportive

Student should be 12th pass with appearing jee mains or ojee Exam of odisha and should fill the form and appear for counselling process. Then if selected will be admitted to the college Reservation seats are there but not that amount .as you will be selected through jee exam application fees is 1000/- for boys 800/- for girls And ojee 1500/- for both I think the college should organize their own entrance exam There will be total of 8semestar in 4years and 2yesrs per each Difficulty level is easy to moderate

- Hostel food was very good,they allow you to take as much u want without hesitation
Dislikes
- Placement cell won't provide you a single placement,so it's a complete waste yo join the institute.
- They differentiate a lot between boys and girls.Its a void but

The admission process was smooth,No need for prior registration,you won't receive any benefits if u do pre reservation.For SC/ST there are stipend facilities.In my case they told your academic percentages are good we will surely provide you with stipends.But they didn't provided.

Admission:
For graduation, you have to give JEE, and then wait for the result. According to the JEE rank and your +2 mark, you will get the branch/tree. If you secure more than 60% in math, physics and chemistry then you are eligible for Mechanical. You can book your seat in this college also by paying some amount. You have to do the counselling and fill up this college name in the counselling list. You can negotiate the course fee by meeting the authority also.

It is a private colleges. So I not took any entrances exam.if you are study in this college so you go into college and took your application form ,write all the data and submit the application form in right time.
Admission:
The admission procedure for the BTech is consist of 50% of 10+2 (CHSE or any state board) and 50 % of jee main results. Also, you can join here as a lateral entry after your diploma. If you have secured good marks you can also find a good discount on the course fee. For the SC/ ST students, no course fee is applicable. For admission, you just simply go to the college admission section they can easily complete the admission procedure. You can also ask your any queries through mail and call.

Yes it is a very helpful college then I fill the form for this college and selected and and admition on this college. I think I admit in this college July 2017. this is a good college and I think this is good for me. the faculty of this college is very friendly.
