My College Explained.

College was too strict about attendance. The staff was good. Location wise excellent. Good transport service.

All of our syllabi were designed by BPUT, our universities. Around 120 colleges used to follow at that time. Some of our syllabi were designed by IIT Kharagpur. So it was too tough in some subjects. Labs were too entertaining. Topics were good to understand.

College is not good in terms of placement. We had lots of fake placements. Lots of students used to get their own jobs off-campus.

Annual tech fest, annual function, sports, etc. There was. Too scope for cultural activities. If someone has interest in songs or dance, he/she can utilize the scope given by the college. College authorities were also interested in extra-curricular activities. Sports was also a major part of our life.

Feasible. At that time we used to pay around 1 lakh rupees including college tuition fees, library fees, bus fees, exam fees, hostel fees, etc. It was feasible at that time. Now it has been expensive. You can opt for an education loan through any bank. The college will provide you bonafide letter for loans.

I have taken loans from the state bank of India. The college issued me a bonafide letter, I need to submit that at the bank and applied for a loan.

Good opportunity for sports. We had extracurricular classes like animation, song, dance, robotics, etc. We used to have a tech-fest every year. Students from different colleges attend this fest program. We used to have a college function every year. Boys to girls ratio were around 3:5.

Yes, we had a hostel on our college campus. 3 people in a room. A brand new college hostel with a great open space. Loved the atmosphere. We were provided beds, tables, and shelves for each individual. 24x7 wifi facilities. Gate used to get closed around 12.

Yes, I get too many emails. Alumni is organized every year in December by college authorities. People share their experiences.

I was admitted into B. Tech 4-year course. I attended Odisha jee and selection was done as per rank. Admit card was given against the rank card. We had to report to college within 7 days of the admit card issued. Then college used to complete all formalities.

We used to have 6-8 classes every day each of 45 minutes. We also used to have labs. Technology labs, computer labs, electronics labs. Also, we used to have programming labs based on semester. In extracurricular activity, we had animation labs, Linux labs, etc.
