Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum prepares us very well for real-world applications. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective is easy. The course I chose had a flexible syllabus which was easily understood.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers comparatively affordable fees of 50k + Exam fees for the course I chose. Hostel fees will be extra. There are scholarships based on the merit, cultural activities, sport activities.

Campus Life

The college had a welcoming environment. There are plenty of events every month and year. Everyone gets an opportunity to learn and explore different events by organising according to their expertise. There are around twenty-five clubs with numerous activities.

Admission

The college was nearby and the transport facilities are easily available. the fees was affordable. This was the first college I applied to and I had the interview to get in and it was easy to clear as well.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:29. The faculty to student relationship and teachers are flexible and approachable. There are exams foe one semester. the middle semester and the end semester. All faculties were quite good with me. Since it is an autonomous college the exams comparatively easy to clear.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Guilt with gratitude

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There are many companies that visit colleges like PN Rao, Reliance, Tailorman, etc. There are good different profiles offered like merchandising, designing, retail with different packages offered from different companies. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.

I didn't actually choose this college. My plan was to go to a government college. But I just applied here and wished to get selected and I did. The admission process is fully online, from interview to paying fees. The eligibility is getting a percentage above 60 and no exams are required. You just need to attend the interview on the date asked by the college and they will ask you few questions, and after few days you will get selected based on the interview.
