Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is up to date which personally helped me to get placed in a good core company. Apart from that, they encourage us to do one credit courses in any sector that we like. The exams are easy and we have normally 4 exams per subject - 2 internal,1 open book,1 semester

Internships Opportunities

4

College curriculum needs every student to attend 2 internship that spans 2 weeks each, during the 4th and 5th sem holidays, which has to be acquired by ourselves. For Msc courses there will be in-campus internship drive that lasts for a semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 7th semester, students will be eligible for campus placements and it will last till the end of the 8th semester. Mostly everyone would get placed. Highest package for my year was 56LPA offered by DE SHAW and the average is around 5-6LPA . 112 students got offers exceeding 10LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

I got into the college via counseling so my fees was low, it was 24,700 rs/ yearly , apart from that we would have to pay exam sem exam fees, which amounts to around 3000/sem. So it costed me around 31k/year no other charges will be there. There will be scholarship for people with less annual income ,where they provide 8-12K/year

Campus Life

3

The library has enough books that is needed to cover the entire syllabus that's offered there. There are around 12 clubs that's actively conducting events. Each department will hold a technical event each year and sporting events will also be held 2-3 times / year in which various clg will be participating

Admission

I chose this college because it's a government aided college which has very affordable fee and very good placements and near to my house. The admission process is simple, apply for Tamil Nadu engineering counseling, you will get allocated a college per your marks, or if you don't have the necessary marks, you can come through management seats which will cost lakhs

Faculty

4

There are around 20-30 staffs for each department, everyone is knowledge and Willing to teach us. Usually we have 2 internal exams, which we write for 50 marks . Most exams will be easy. Compared to other colleges, the course curriculum offered here will be more suitable for someone who's looking for placement. While graduation out of 120 students only 5 had arrears and those are people who are not willing to study
