Remarks
It's the top ranked agricultural University in India and is the worlds 8th best college in dairy science. The campus area is 1350 acres. It is a lush green campus that inspires us a lot. the total number of students in NDRI including the bachelor of technology, m.tech, and Ph.D. is around 800.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum we study here is updated and it's fulfilling the needs of the industry. Food technology is also taught along with dairy technology. The level of exam for entrance in NDRI( National dairy research institute) is just like jee mains but the level of questions is easy but the important thing is the number of questions is 180 which is to be done in 3 hours only. The cut off for the different categories are as follows General - 514 OBC- 497 ST- 350+ SC- 400+
Placement Experience
As the number of students in every batch is less so there is much probability of getting placed. As the present scenario, 100% placement is there. Companies like Amul, mother dairy, Heinz, gsk, almarai, keventers, nestle, tetrapak, ITC, etc. This college also provides an internship in the model dairy plant which gives a stipend of 10000 per month with accommodation facility.

Fee Structure And Facilities
It's the cheapest college I have ever seen. The academics fee structure is 2300 bucks only and a hostel fee of 1000 bucks per semester. As it is a national importance college and it is run by the Central government.
Fees and Financial Aid
The student who has selected in the first counseling gets a scholarship from college each month which worth 3000 bucks. As the fee structure of the college is very less so I don't think that one should take the loan for a fee.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are somewhat less in number but when it comes we enjoy a lot. Labs are well maintained and full of new equipments in working condition and that's why we have more practical knowledge. Some of the labs are NABL accredited. Sport is an integral part there is a sports complex, gym. There is one national library in dairying also, which is connected online through many of the universities of the world which makes it very resourceful.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel's compulsory for all it's cost is 1000 bucks per semester. According to AICTE, the hostel is the healthiest hostel. The infrastructure is very nice. 3 students in the first year get a room in the second year and the third year two students get the room and in the fourth year, a single room is given to each student.
Alumni/Alumna
This college was established in 1923, which means it is going to celebrate it's 100 years in 2023. So there is no doubt about the alumni network. The alumni network is really very helpful and every they come to meet us and gives knowledge about current industrial practices which helps us a lot.
Faculty
The faculties are the best in their research field and the faculties are the dairy scientists which also inspired us to work hard in this field. All the scientists have at least 5 international papers published.
