Remarks

I was admitted to NDRI karnal through ICAR counseling. I have scored 410 out of 600 in the ICAR-UG examination 2020. You have to score more than 300 marks to get to this college. I have taken admission through the general category.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has a faculty-student ratio of 1:30. I only chose this course because of its uniqueness and job prospects. Highly experienced and qualified professors teach us in our faculty. End term semester exams are moderate level and 50% score is pass marks.

Internships Opportunities

In the 7th semester, there is a six-month-long (full semester) plant training internship provided by our college with a stipend of 3000/- per month. Internships are also offered by the companies like SnowCap, Verka etc.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Top recruiting companies like Nestle, Mother Dairy, Amul, Thackers Dairy visit our campus. Almost 100% of students got placed with the highest package 12 LPA and lowest package 5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has very affordable charges. Rs. 5800 is taken in every semester. Hostel, mess, and food charges are separate. You will get an ICAR scholarship of Rs. 3000 per month (outside the state) so no need to worry about it.

Campus Life

Reverie is the annual festival that all ICAR colleges celebrate. Basically, it is held in the month of April-May. One of the best library facilities is provided by our college. The classrooms are well-furnished. Sports, extracurricular activites are always welcome.

I don't know about placement because my batch is the second batch of btech course but the hod have assured that they will bring companies. In 7th semester students become eligible for placement. The average package you could expect is 300000.

The placement opportunity in my college are quite good and student usually become eligible for the campus placement for 16 and seven semester, depending on the course number of recruitment, companies of the IT finance, consulting and the core industry, visit the campus, each year, student companies in for TCS et cetera, et cetera, the highest package offer is the quite impressive and average package a decent and the comparative compare to the other college and the region. Placement Experience:

The thing about my course placement is that my batch is second batch so no batch have been passed out and placed in btech but the dean have assured us about the placement as they have bought companies for others courses so they will surely bring for btech also that's what they said. The companies will mostly nearby to dpg degree college. And the average package will maybe 3 lakh per annum.

Our college is the best option if you can't get good IITs or NITs and the research culture is excellent.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is excellent which is responsibly managed by the Head of the Department. Almost 95% of the students got placed with decent salary packages in MNC ranges between 8-9 LPA. For cooperatives and milk plants, the salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. NDRI only accepts students to pursue their BTech degree who have cleared the ICAR UG examination with top score and rank in the PCM branch.
